The company delivered the diapers todayPlease close the complaint

Dear Revdex.com, for the sake of brevity I am glad to share with you my side of this story to the degree I canFirst and foremost this transaction took place on November the 1st The author of the complaint is correct they paid $for the purchase of a Wheelchair with elevating leg rest and a seat cushion for the wheelchair This was originally supposed to be a cash deal because this item while normally covered by Medicare is not covered by Medicare when someone is in a long term care facility The customer signed a statement to the fact that they were instructed that is would not be covered and to file a (1) courtesy claim to Medicare but they agreed to pay up front Well Medicare did deny the claim So now that was not good enough and the customer changed the deal again and wanted us to bill the secondary insurance As a courtesy we did do that and to our surprise they did pay but only for a one month rental however we had to file monthly claims for ten months (10) to get the wheelchair paid for The insurance did not pay for the leg-rest of the seat cushion These are the items that were deducted from the reimbursed amount when the refund was given The reason the full amount paid by insurance was not reimbursed is because of the contract we have with the insurance company and the rates given to us when a claim is filed are different then a cash deal Furthermore this was supposed to be a cash deal My company had to file at least a dozen claims There is a cost to do that and had we not went to the extent that we did the customer would not have gotten a dime back! The customer asked us for the best deal because they were going to pay cash The customer changed their mind and insisted that we bill their insurance Obviously, you dont need a MBA to realize that the more work and overhead you commit to filing a dozen claims with an insurance company the more cost it ads to the transaction I was not in a position to do all the work so that the customer could profit from my investment and work.....however I was real fair to the customer I just hope the next time they want to make a deal they stick to the deal! Thanks

It is correct that I was told by the supplier that Medicare would not cover the cost of the wheelchairHowever, I knew that the Government Employees Blue Cross\Blue Shield provides outstanding supplemental coverageIn order to apply for this coverage, a claim must be submitted to Medicare and be denied by Medicare. This procedure was followedUnbeknown, the supplemental insurance appears to have entered into a "pay to own" agreement with the supplierPerhaps the supplemental insurance company reasoned that Ernest would die in a few months and thus they would save moneyThis was not the case, the supplemental insurance company paid more than $for the $wheel chairIt seems most reasonable that the $should be refundedThis would leave the supplier with approximately $for the additional efforts
