We are in receipt of this complaint and offer the following as our responseWe assist medical providers in extending credit to patients for medical procedures where credit
has been denied by traditional lendersReporting credit to the credit reporting agencies requires significant expense that would adversely effect our pricing models and make credit less affordable for consumersWe strive to provide a finance option for patients that would otherwise not be able to attain the procedures they want because of credit worthiness, therefor we attempt to keep down the cost of creditWe apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we will continue to provide a much needed service focused on patient outcomes

While I cannot give specific comment on the Borrowers payments and demeanor while we have dealt with this issue I can
say that the borrower charged back on the credit card the amount he is disputingThe borrower signed a valid agreement however in the interest of customer service we will be placing his account in a paid in full status and not seek to reverse the credit card dispute

To Whom it May Concern:This letter is a response to a complaint filed by Ma Veronica Mendez (Complaint ID: 12157009). The patient filed a dispute on the charges to her bank account. stop payment is removed on the patient's bank account to avoid fees from out bank.Any time a patient files a dispute on the charges to their bank account, they receive a letter from Healthcare Finance Direct in which they are advised they have 10 days from the date of the letter to reverse the dispute or present valid payment to us. If the notice is ignored, we call the entire balance fully due and payable according to the terms of our agreement with the patient. The notice also advises the patient that we will report the account to credit reporting agencies and turn the account and its entire balance over to an outside collection agency if the issue is not resolved.Our Customer Care team followed procedure and attempted to contact the patient daily from April 12th, 2017 until April 25th, 2017 to remedy the issue. We received no response. We were not contacted by the patient until May 15,2017, after the account was already sent out to collections. Unfortunately, after an account is sent to collections by our providers, we no longer service the account internally at Healthcare Finance Direct and the Customer Care representative the patient spoke to did inform the patient of the situation.Please contact me with any further questions.Thank you, Cynthia OzunaDirector of Operations ###-###-####[email protected]

Thank you for taking the time to speak to me today.
As mentioned earlier, this client has a contract with HFD in which he has monthly payments that are due on the 1st of each month and those payments are set up on an auto...

draft each month. He had a payment that was due on 5/1/15 and the payment returned unpaid. When our Customer Care Department reached out to him to let him know that the payment came back unpaid, he advised us that he couldn't afford to do his past due payment and would call us back when he could make it up. On 7/30/15 he called and asked to have us process an extra $50 per month with his monthly payments until his past due was taken care of in which we are doing for him.
I have reached out to him as well, however, had to leave a message for him to call me back so that I can explain to him. Mr. [redacted] did assess a return payment fee, however, that is being waived for him.

Frist of all there was no phone call of any kind to my home,second of all the way I found out was when a letter came to my home around the19 of may in which was send out the Friday the 15 of may also. So I call your office and talk to Yolanda about the 50 you are charging me for not having the money in the bank.I explain to her that they the bank shut down the card for suspicious activity ask her she said she written it down. She ask for a payment of 50 in which I reply I did not have the funds for I sent out all my bill money and I could start paying on the next month of 103.72 and she said o.k look at your records. your response is such a total lie how can you respond with this kind of statement. There was no phone call because my wife misplace her phone and I was talking to these people over my phone and when I talk to this person she mention nothing on how come you never reply on the message I left on the phone. You cannot be a leader if you don't hear both side of the story yes we have a contact that I live up to now i'm going to have to break it due to my illness in which the v.a found cancer inside of me an I feel the judge will understand I am shutting down my card so please send me a address so I can mail what I can afford now. These are the arrangement I made to one of your co-workers 103.72-103.72-103.72-an made to your worker of 153.72 and you never stated to me you would take the 50 off until now. To the B.B.B thank you for letting me speak of the truth the whole truth if you need for me to take a lie detector test I would be happy to take one and for the other party stand up and shake hands you almost pull it off.I have the bank records that why it took just a little time on my part
