All students come in to our school to meet with an academic advisor to sign up for the programAt the time of registration all students are given an enrollment agreement which spells out the refund policy along with the academic policyStudents are always reminded to read all information before signing due to a signature indicates that the individual has read the information and understand the terms of the enrollment agreement.On the first week of classes the school catalog is reviewed with the entire classStudent catalog is generally read aloud as a group so that students can ask questions reference to all policiesDue to issues arising when some students dont meet the academic requirements we reiterate the fact that Mid-term and Final exams are 80% of the total average for the entire academic portion of the programWe reiterate the fact that the program is an accelerated program so you must dedicate yourself in order to pass the program successfully with an percent or betterAll students sign an acknowledgement form stating that they understand the information presented in the catalog.Our program is weeks of training weeks in the classroom setting and week at a clinical locationEvery single week a progress report is given to each student along with remedial assistance if neededThe student who is filing this compliant was warned that she would need to follow the study guide given for her final exam and to please reach out if she needed extra assistance because if she didnt pass her final then she could possibly fail the programIt was only until the final day of the program that we had a response from this individual because she had gotten a dismissal letter due to not meeting the academic requirements to transition to clinicalsWe later received calls with her threatening the school cursing and not willing to listen to anything any of our academic staff was trying to explain to herOur program is an approved program by the Maryland Higher Education Commission and The Maryland Board of NursingWe are following the rules policies and proceduresWe understand her frustration however, not passing the program doesnt warrant a refundIf she would have passed she wouldnt have expected a refundAll the other students in her class passed the program and now are Certified Nursing AssistantsIf she would have only completed a certain amount of time in the program the she would have been eligible for a refund but after completing percent of the program she is not eligible for a refundAgain, all of the agreements with her signature on file spells out all of the above information.We would love to inviter her back to our program to give it another tryStudents who dont pass come back to the program.In the years that we have been in operation students who come back to the program find it a little easier to process and retain the informationAgain, we are an accelerated short program it is alot of material to retain in a short period of time however, we have a high academic pass rate

All students sign an acknowledgement form stating that they understand the information presented in the catalog.Our program is 4 weeks of training 3 weeks in the classroom setting and 1 week at a clinical location.
