Thank you for your letter dated May 19th, concerning Ms***'s
concernsWe work hard to provide quality services and provide all service agreements in writing to help minimize any misunderstandings
Ms*** signed up for services on April 10th, and received her medical alert unit the following weekOur written agreement outlines a very simple process for cancelling services, which is allowed at any time, by simply returning the equipment and providing written noticeCancellations within the first weeks are entitled to a full refundHad these steps been followed the account would have been closed and her first month of services would have been refunded at 100%
Unfortunately, Ms*** did not contact our office until May 18th after her 2nd billing cycle had been processedAt that time, Ms*** explained that she no longer wanted the service because she could not locate a phone connection in her house close enough to her medical alert unitAt this time, our agent explained that we could upgrade her medical alert unit free of charge to a different type that did not require a phone line to operate
Ms*** declined the offer and insisted on a full refundWhen our agent tried to explain the cancellation policy Ms*** terminated the callMs*** has since returned the equipment so the account is closed and no future billings will occur
We received her equipment on May 28th which is approximately the same time as we received this Revdex.com notification
We're sorry that Ms*** did not contact our office sooner regarding her intent to cancelHowever, because she did contact our office on May 10th and provided notice that she was cancelling services and we subsequently received her equipment back, we will issue a full refund for the month of May and hope that this satisfies her request

We have been proving medical alert services for over 20 years and have an A+ rating from the Revdex.com. This is certainly not an accurate reflection of our business philosophy and we apologize for this negative...

experience.
When we spoke with you on January 6th we cancelled your mother's service as you requested. We received the equipment back in our office January 11th (thank you) and we processed a full refund on January 18th per your request. Sometimes refunds processed via ACH take a few days to process. Please contact our offices if you do not see the refund in the next few days.
We have also placed your Mother's telephone number on our company Do Not Call list and again apologize for the confusion and mix-up.
