Review: Replacing my [redacted] Steam Juicer tube (made by [redacted]) found a company advertising it, not sure if genuine/looked different. Based on its one review, bought it. Got/saw it was different (not clear silicone), wrote company. Did they know if [redacted] changed material? Their reply:'I'm don't understand what is going on here. We only sell authentic [redacted] products. We work directly with the manufacturer and ship out there products. What exactly did you get and why don't you think it was authentic? Please include a picture of what you received. We can certainly correct any issue. We stand behind our products. Thanks, [redacted]' Wrote back why I thought it was different, sent photos of my used tube (her reference to 'dingy')and the one she sent/white-opaque color, asked if she knew if [redacted] was maybe outsourcing? She wrote: 'You got the correct item. It is not outsourced and comes straight on a pallet from [redacted]. I saw them all received into the warehouse myself. Depending on how old her unit is, the tubing has changed. Hers looks dingy and plus, when you use it, it does discolor it...We don't buy cheaper parts somewhere that fit the [redacted], we get them sent direct from [redacted].' Thanked her, then emailed [redacted]. Their reply: 'Dear [redacted] Thank you for your inquiry. Although pictures of our spare hoses may look opaque, they are as you described, clear silicon. As far as I know the material hasn't changed. If you have any problems with your hose, we can supply you with a spare hose and clamp set found on our website. Kind regards, [redacted] UK' I then sent Jo the photos. [redacted] reply: 'Hi [redacted], The picture you sent is definitely not one of our tubes. This version you bought is of inferior quality and not made by [redacted]. They can be bought for less than half the price of a bona fide one, which should be packaged with the [redacted] symbol and trade mark. Our tubes are flexible, clear and made of silicone. I hope this answers your queries. Kind regards, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I'd like to return the tube they sent me for a full purchase price and shipping cost and return* shipping cost refund (*currently unpaid). The company should also have to change their misleading advertising representing the tube as a genuine [redacted] replacement part as it's used to conduct piping-hot juice from the juicer into jars to be sealed for later consumption. If the tube's inferior it could be contaminating the juice which is unsafe and unconscionable of this company to allow.

Review: On June 24, 2013 I placed an order for "TriBest Blender & Grinder -PB-250 TriBest Blender & Grinder -PB-250 Voltage: 220 Volt (Europe)". For a total of $92.90 including shipping. On June 25, 2013 I received an email stating: "Thank you for shopping at Healthnut Samson A&B Health Wholesale! We are happy to report that your order, number XXXXXX, shipped on 6/25/2013." and a link to their order status page. The order status page gave an include UPS tracking number.I replied to that email asking for a tracking number and got no reply. I checked my credit card statement was the $92.90 was pending and then posted, so I assumed the order was shipped as state because the charge was not voided.Today I emailed and asked for the tracking number and was told: 'This order was cancelled since credit card verification would not clear it.'I think it is completely unacceptable to tell me the order shipped when they had no intention of processing it. I also think it is completely unacceptable for them to charge my card instead of voiding it if there was a verification error.

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

At this point it is unclear if they are willing to process the order or not. I will look for the product from another source, so the speed of their response is urgent.

Response:

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2013/07/05) */

This customer's order was cancelled and FULLY REFUNDED prior to his complaint

The order was placed by a person overseas and was FLAGGED by the Credit Card processing Company as "Potential Fraud." The billing address was in Penna, shipping address was Florida to an apparent overseas consolidator and the credit card was processed in Canada. This order had all the appearances of fraud so it was cancelled and refunded.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/07/09) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

The order was cancelled, but it was not refunded until I complained to Visa. At the moment I complained to you, the Revdex.com, and to Visa, the charge was POSTED to my account. That was more than a week after the order was cancelled.

Although the order was cancelled, I was emailed and told that it had SHIPPED.

Although the order was "flagged" they made no effort to do any verification, and additionally, send me a bogus email stating that it had been shipped. Completely disrespectful!

At absolute minimum they should have informed me in a forthright manner that they were not going to process the order. Additionally, as they were concerned that it was not a legitimate order they should have voided the credit card charge, rather than letting it post.

As a good business practice they would have gone to a little effort to verify the details of the order, and their client.

Their business practices show an absolute disrespect for their legitimate customers (me), as well as for someone who might be a victim of a fraudulent order (by posting the charge, rather than voiding it).

Obviously, an item of 220V is not intended for use in the USA, so someone overseas would be the only likely customers and therefore when selling that type of merchandise a vendor would expect to get legitimate orders from clients who are located overseas and using an overseas consolidator. None of which was hidden or disguised in my order.

Some merchants when concerned ask for a scanned copy of ID, and credit card. None simply cancel and order and tell their client it has been shipped!

They added further insult by offering to ship me some kind of "free gift".

There is simply nothing that can be done to satisfy me. I have placed an order from another company, which had no issues with my credit card, IP, delivery address, billing address, or anything else.
