Healthtronix Medical Equipment Reviews (2)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The $charged to my credit card was described as a down payment , not as sales tax and document fee When agreement was make to buy the m.home for $and my trade in they asked for money to hold the unit they suggested the amount of the sales tax and the docfee If you take % of the purchase price and add it will be the exact amount they put on my card I had a clear title to my m.home and a cashiers check for $on my person on the closing date of Novso it is obvious I was acting in good faith I did not convey to them in writing the condition of my trade-inAnd there is no such communication I showed picfrom my Kindle that I had taken that morning of my trade in to the salesman and my girlfriend can attest to this The salesman then asked me questions about it and I answered them truthfully This is a subjective way to judge the value of a trade-in I considered my year old rv a very decent camper considering its age and described it so Apparently my subjective views of my m.home and the salesman subjective judging of it on paper did not seem to agree It seems odd to me that no request was made to see my trabefore they make me an offer They only gave a $allowance for it on their initial offer which I rejected so how can they say I overly stated its value if that's all they offered The same morning they cancelled the sale I traded it in for another m.home at camping world and received $13,for traand discounts The statement that I requested Satthe 26th for closing is simply not true The salesman scheduled this date The purchase agreement was made on Mon.nov He said they could not have it ready Tues the Weds was Thanksgiving I suggested Thursor Friand he said their workers were off for the holiday and he suggested Sat the 26th, which I agreed to The unit was very clean inside and out so little if anything had to be done They had assured me everything was in top shape so nothing had to be fixed They somewhat rudely came up to the m.home while Jeff(a worker)was going to show me how things worked and canceled the deal None of this mess would have occurred had they simply not taken $of my moneyNo hard feelings, no blot on their reputation I would not have done such a thing to anyone It could have been so simple Regards, [redacted] ***

RevDex.com: I have reviewed Mr. ***’s response to our response in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and offer the following corrections. Mr. [redacted] did agree/conceded in his reply that the amount of $3875 charge to his card was described as a down payment and not for the purposes of sales tax and a doc fee. Mr. [redacted] did bring a clear title to his 1997 motorhome and a cashier’s check for the balance agreed to on the purchase agreement. The problem is that the trade unit in no way even resembled the condition as it was described to us. Mr. [redacted] rated this unit as an 8 on a 10 point scale during an in person interview on our appraisal form than signed that document assuring us that his trade would come to us in the condition he described it to be. While there is some degree of subjectivity to that rating the unit he brought us was in disrepair and should have been rated a 2 on a 10 point scale by all objective account. The unit had been rigged in its repair on the front cab using a material not consistent with the rest of the unit on the exterior. The interior panels exposed raw wood boards not covered by wall paper as the rest of the unit. Significant moisture stains on the ceiling and in the front of the cab. As a result Mr. [redacted] did not bring us one portion of his payment and did not live up to his part in one of the key aspect of the deal as the trade unit was not even close to being in the condition we expected. Mr. [redacted] did not meet his obligation as per the purchase agreement. In the thousands of like deals we do it is very rare for this to happen where a trade comes in that doesn’t even resemble the way it has been described. We were very courteous in our explanation of this matter to Mr. [redacted] and offered to back the trade out and renegotiate a fair deal for both parties. Mr. [redacted] declined that option. As a result our decision to withhold a portion of the down was both fair and correct. None of this would have occurred had Mr. [redacted] simply been upfront with his assessment of his trade or had been willing to work something out which would have been amicable; at the time he was to take delivery. There were and are no hard feelings on our part the decisions we made in this case are simply consistent with what is fair and right and good business.
