In terms of the complaint, Mr. [redacted] was notified through a certified letter that we are voluntarily recalling some of our heating pads that were manufactured from July of 2012 to July of 2014. When Mr. [redacted] emailed us on 9/24/2016 all he...

stated was: Seriously, your recall is to have consumers throw out their product. Leaving on business trip, but will have fun posting on social media when I return. My customer service representative tried to help him but all we got were 4 more uncooperative responses, being unreasonable and more threats of slander. Therefore, we couldn't help him (and I don't think GM would have either if he refused to provide the VIN information on his car). After our continuing to follow up, he finally did provide us with a picture of his heating pad which was NOT part of this recall. His product is out of warranty and not included in the recall. We feel he is only using the Revdex.com and likely social media to try to get us to buy back an old heating pad he has used and doesn't want anymore.

My device was already defective once and had to be replaced. We still use it on occasion and will continue to use. After I supplied pictures, I never received response. They are not denying their recall is a cya on their part and rather than do the right thing they are taking advantage of customers.

If we understand the consumer correctly, 1) his pad is NOT recalled, 2) his pad is NOT under warranty, & 3) he is still using his pad and so it is working! He states we already provided him one new heating pad previously under warranty. We won't give him a new one simply because he contacted the Revdex.com and complained that his working heating pad isn't new and he should be given a new one. This matter is closed.
