This company uses questionable sales tactics and seems not to finish a job to pass county inspection Our home service company sent Healthy Home to repair our air conditioning unit We were told it would not be covered by our home service company and the repair bill would be so expensive it made more sense to purchase a new unit We were strongly encouraged to do so that day (and while waiting for different phone calls to the company I checked their website to read reviews) We paid cash and received the unit which took visits to complete It did not pass our county inspection and I made different appointments which were not kept (excuses upon excuses) I feel the sales tactics and the service is very shady I would strongly advise anyone researching this company TO STAY AWAY!! I wish I would have been more diligent and researched this company more! The last missed appointment was 7/which I was surprised they made with it being a holiday weekend (which I questioned when t

bought a hvac system and a water filter system
In April of I bought a hvac system from healthy home of Tampa six months later they come to check the system out and offered me a water filtration system they sad they would put the two systems on one loan at a lower APR and they would pay off the first loan that was in November so far they haven't payed the first loan at all, it's been almost a year now they are not returning my callsNow I'm stuck with two loans for the hvac system

Fraudulent and strong arm sales tactics
Had Healthy Home install new air compressor and air handler in my home in July of At that time they indicated the system came with a lifetime compressor warranty, year parts and year labor warranty This is reflected on the receipt
Today (2/15/2016) they came to do the month free checkup on the system and indicated that it did not have the complete protection package installed which included a biocide unit and a compressor saver kit They indicated that without these accessories, the manufacturer could void the warranty The cost of these would be $but I could get an Energy Star Rebate for $if I applied through them I said of course I'd like the rebate so they indicated that they had applied and I was eligible
At this point I began to get suspicious and question why this wasn't explained to me when I originally purchased the system and that I would like to talk to my lawyer before committing to pay them ano

Our AC was on the fritz so we called our home warranty company and they sent out Chase from Healthy Home. He came out and lo and behold our AC was working, so at first he acted like we had called him out for nothing. Then he went out and checked the AC and said that it looked like our compressor was about to stop working and that maybe we should try to get the compressor replaced by our warranty company. He called his boss first and his boss suggested that he lie to the home warranty people to see if they would cover extra maintenance or parts on the unit. SO they lied to our home warranty people about our maintenance records. So he called our home warranty person and was very rude to her on the phone. Once they ascertained that they would not pay for a new compressor until it broke, the technician then started selling us on a brand new unit. Then told us about energy star rebates (like cash for clunkers) that they offered "but no one has gotten one in three or four years but you are a perfect candidate for it." Meanwhile, I googled the program he is talking about and there were no such rebates listed in our area. Plus, they asked our income for the "rebate" and when the company heard what we made, then came the high-pressure sales tactics about getting a new AC. Chase, our rude technician, started throwing numbers out there about savings, etc and saying we didn't have "protection parts" covered under our warranty. Therefore, it was more cost effective to get a new unit. When my husband said that we wanted to talk about it overnight, the guy got very rude saying "what is there to discuss? it's a no brainer." So he calls his boss back and tries to swing some sort of a "deal" because my husband is military. Then over the phone, the boss asked how much we could pay for it tonight. When we again requested to have a couple of days to look at the numbers and talk about whether or not we wanted to just replace the AC today, they started really pressuring us calling us dumb for not taking the offer tonight. So my husband cut the guy off on the phone and told the technician to leave. then the technician got VERY rude and said that he had a right to be here and that "while my husband may have gotten used to getting his own way as a drill sergeant" he (the technician) wasn't going to be spoken to that way. When my husband again told him to just stop and leave, the technician got in his face and was very nasty, but he finally left. Essentially, the company was trying to scam our warranty company into paying for repairs that were not needed and then trying to get us qualified for a rebate that doesn't even seem to exist. Very glad we got the technician out of our house and that we did not cave to the very high-pressure sales tactics.
