The customer wanted to cancel her subscriptions so that she would not be billed in the futureSo she was provided with a link to cancel, which the customer used to cancel However the customer was not aware that the link does not cancel items that were purchased on a payment plan since, the customer has already received the item and will need to return it for a refundThe item was accepted on a payment plan at checkout for a $shipping fee and two $ payments that would occur days apart for the payment planThis brought about confusion and cause the customer to think that we had still billed her for the subscription she cancelled, instead she was actually being billed for items she actually ordered not a subscription She has already been refunded for the $charges and we have personally spoken with her

The customer purchased the 300pg Book and was then offered a promotion
to join the Gospel Music Training Center for a $feeThe payment of
the $fee started the subscription which has a $payment that
is automatically taken out once a month from the card that was used to
make the
original purchase withThe customer was not aware of the existing subscription and wanted a refundThe customer was very upset with the billings and was given a full refund for both months of the subscription and a refund of the $feeThe customer is now satisfied

Buyer Beware of HearandPlay.com I bought some DVD's from hearandplay in 2013, and got a day free trial to the online videosI used the trial during that time, and decided I did not want to use it any longerI cannot remember exactly if there was a cancellation procedure I went through (it was over a year ago) - but I do have vague recollections that my online account at hearandplay did not say that I had a subscription (which I recently checked and this is the case) - so you would think everything was okHowever, I just found out that ever since, they have been charging me a monthly subscription that has come to hundreds of dollarsI never received any notification of this, no invoice, no receipt etcI have contacted Hearandplay.com but they have refused to refund meI have basically been scammedI'd hate to see other people experience this, so buyer please beware

When I joined Hear and Play, I joined because of what Jermaine said about interactive and structured they are. I had worked with other Gospel musician to get a good foundation on Gospel piano, having evolved in the classic music realm, and they were very hands on.
I would shoot them an email, and they would respond very quick without a middle person.
I worked with the trainer directly, i.e Darrel Crook so to say, because I learnt a lot from him.

So, my main concern with Hearandplay is, everytime I tried to email Jermaine, he never responded to any of my email, instead had a middle person respond after I had chased them asking why nobody responds to my emails. Instead, they kept sending me sales email to buy more CDs and videos, which gave me a real bad image as to how I was treated as a member of GMTC.My emails were mainly focused on improving things I noticed they were not doing right, such as teaching things without showing their application in real music. Some lessons seemed abstract that I had to go to youtube and look for people explaining them better with practical songs.
In A nutshell, my main issues are "Lack of communication" and "Selling and run"
I am currently researching for another hands-on trainer, instead of losing my time and money that hardly earn.

payments that would occur 30 days apart for the payment plan. This
brought about confusion and cause the customer to think that we had
still billed her for the subscription she cancelled, instead she was
actually being billed for items she actually ordered not a subscription.
She has already been refunded for the $22 charges and we have
personally spoken with her.
