My visit to the Pottstown clinic Friday, April 29, was a nightmare My appointment was with Edward G*** My first impression was disgust! This person was unkept and "creepy" -- he appeared to be hung-over or medicated He "checked" my aids and said he changed the filters as they were full of was I told him I had just changed the filters two days prior His response was that most older patients do not know how to take care of their aids I let that remark slide As he continued to pace the office; I shared that my job requires constant use of the telephone and that I need to remove my right aid to have a conversation I've never been able to find that comfort zone to hear clearly with the aids Without making eye contact his answer was that he didn't know what to tell me With that my appointment was over!
