I called the koa campground a few weeks ago and talked to a man thereI told him we had a truck and enclosed trailer for our bikeI asked if we could reserve a primitive spot and keep both on a spotHe told me no I would have to keep one in over flow parkingI asked about a generator he said we couldn't have one at allI thanked him for the informationLast week I reserved a spot confNo [redacted] My husband called tbis week and he was told no truck or trailerWe don't own a tent why would we reserve just a tent spotWe were told no refund because it is a eventWe just want our deposit back we will never reserve there agsin

I made a reservation at one of their campgrounds from 7/20-24/201$My reservation said if we were arriving late - as I put we were on the reservation - that our key would be in a late arrival boxI got a call while en route telling me I could not stay the nightThey refused to refund me the night they stated I could not stay based on my arrival time being after their bed timeI had to spend more to get a hotel for the nightThe next day they decided that 10% was a decent discount when it wasn't even half of my hotel room but I let it goSunday I was called and informed that I had to collect my belongings - I was at an event in Bangor Holden - due to a [redacted] post I had writtenInstead of asking me to take it down and seeing if we had rectified the situation I have yet to receive the promised refund for the last night I was displaced having to get another hotel roomWhen I called KOA inc on 7/I was transferred to a superviors voicemailI left my information and never heard

My daughter, year old, called the KOA Starkville Wet and Wild campsite on July at 12:to make reservations for a cabin for the following two daysShe made them because she heard they had a beachAfter giving the credit card information, my daughter asked about the beach and was it had been closed for two years and then the lady said thank you and hung upMy daughter did not have an opportunity to respondShe called me and I called back to the site at 12:to cancelThe lady said ok and hung up My card was charged the full amountWhen investigating, their cancellation policy for cabins is prior to hours So since we made the reservation for the next day, they did not consider that within the cancellation policy timeframe and would not refundI feel that we should have been told about there was no beach and the cancellation policy bothWe made reservations at another facility and went there the next two daysWe would have kept the reservation if we had known we w
