I am rejecting this response because:
This a report regarding being given estimates Only one estimate was ever given me in the amount of with an invoice of The second issue was something unknown due to me never getting a teat
drive and being told that they would look at it for free after being asked how much it would cost Informing them that the vechicle was needed in a couple of days two days later from the taking a look comment, they called to inform me the work was already done and was owedThe behavior discussed never happened On the last visit they gave me a packet which contained an invoice for tires in the amount of and I asked why I was looking at then they said it was not my invoice but another customers and they found the correct one for minus the road hazard which is unusable out of state and tire disposal which never happened Another mechanic has stated that the brake light which was on immediately on my starting the vechicle did need to be fixed, but that the differential which was the second invoice had been sealed but did not affect the brakes

The invoice for the tires was put in my daughter's name although I am the owner of the vehicle and wrote the check/paid for the tiresMy daughter's name is *** J***, address *** *** *** *** *** XXXXXI had also purchased a set of tires from them for my other vehicle that I drive all the timeFor some reason that invoice is in my daughter's name alsoI don't know why they don't have my name in their system tooI have the invoices and can get copies of the cleared checks I wrote themThe tires were bought at the *** Missouri location

I wish to respond to each of his points he makesI do not know whether they "stock" Continental tires or notI'm not sure what that has to do with anythingI asked them for recommendations for a good tire with higher mileage warranty in the tire size neededThe salesman recommend the Continentals saying they were a good tire and they had had good luck with themThey had also suggested some other tires too but stated the Continentals had the highest mileage warranty for the size I neededI said I'd go with the ContinentalsI'm not sure why they say this was a "special order at my request" as most tire shops don't carry every size on hand or why that is some excuse anyways
I did not tell them I needed two tires onlyI advised them I needed a set of tires because two of the tires were worn to 2/tread and I didn't want to wear them down any furtherI told them I just expected them to pro rate the two that were worn down to 2/treadI advised them the other two tires had more tread on themWhen I was given the excuse they would not pro rate the tires because the manufacturer would say the wore out prematurely due to not rotating themI advised them two tires had more tread due to having less miles on themThey did replace tires twice under road hazard warrantyMaybe it was the same tire the second timeThe one with the most tread had 4/to 5/treadThe other one was close to 3/tread or barely slightly overI wasn't going to replace just two tires when the ones with more tread didn't have a lot of tread left eitherThe point is the tires did not wear out prematurely because they were not rotatedMy daughter had them rotated at Ford when she got oil changes because it was easier than going to two different places (and yes she does have the service records)
I did not have my daughter's car with me at the timeI just went in to see about a new setHad I not got excuses from them, they would have been able to check the tires and confirmed the wearI didn't expect them not to check the tires themselves when the car was brought inI expected them to say when you bring the car in to put the new tires on it and we verify the wear, we will pro rate the two tires that were wore out
As for me coming in and being "overly agressive," I'm not sure what he meansNo inappropriate language was used, no threats were made, no loud arguing went on, and nothing even remotely suggestive of physical aggressision transpiredAfter their excuses even after *** out the other tires had less miles on them and that didn't make any difference to them, I told the fine I would take my business elsewhere and leftMy tone of voice was obviously of dissatisfaction but there was no yelling or anything of the sort to suggest being "overly aggressive." That statement is obviously an attempt to portray me as an obnoxious unreasonable customer who can't be dealt withWhat I do find obnoxious and unreasonable is their lack of standing behind what they sell as promisedI was assured verbally they would pro rate the tires/no problem if they did not last the warranted mileageI get that they can claim such verbal statements and assurances were not made but I can also take my business elsewhere when I know betterIf that's the way their business is then I don't want to do business with them
As far as them saying if I just expect them to write me a check because I complained, that's not going to happen, I don't expect thatWhat I would expect from a legitimate honest business would be for that business to stand behind what they sell and do the right thing in the first place*** Tire would have been able to inspect the tires and confirm the wear when I brought the car in for the new tiresIf I was lying to them that would have been obvious when they measured the tires themselves and I would have expected them to say no we can't pro rate them because they are not down to 2/yetI'm not a difficult person to deal with; I just expect to get what I pay for and promised and if I don't I'm going to call them on it and take my business elsewhereThey only reason I would expect them to write me a check would be because they didn't do the right thing in the first place so maybe now they would decide to do the right thing and stand behind what they sold me
As for coming in to them now with the tire rotation records, the car, and the old tires, that is not going to happen nowI bought a new set of tires from Purcell Tires in Springfield and they took the old tires to dispose of themI'm sure Purcell Tires thought I was crazy replacing tires that were still good and not wore out (I guess I shouldn't be sarcastic but it gets my point across)
*** Tire can dismiss this complaint as portraying it as being made by an "aggressive" customer just trying to get something for nothingFrom their response, that is what they appear to me to be trying to doThat's fineBased on what they did initially I don't really expect them to do the right thing nowIt appears to me their response is to just keep making excusesThey have sold me two sets of tires: They will not ever sell me a third set

I found the records for your daughters car
I spoke with *** ***, The store manager, who you spoke with
We do not stock continental tires and I show they were special ordered per your request
*** stated that you came to the store and that you believed you needed two new tires
He stated that he would contact continental directly to see if they could helpBut, they would most likely decline because we have no record of you rotating them
You stated that of the tires are worn less than the other 2, which is a sign of lack of rotation
you stated this is because we already warrantied of them due to Road hazard
My records show that we replaced one tire due to road hazard
You did not have the vehicle at our store and the time you were speaking to our store manager, and we cannot do anything without the tires or car in question
You then told *** you would go else where
When you show up to our shop and are unnecessarily aggressive , We cant do anything
Still, If you bring me the car to verify mileage, the tires in question, and proof of the rotationsI will try my best to warranty them
If you just want me to write you a check based on your complaint, not going to happen
Yes, this would have been easier replaced your tires elsewhere, but we cant control that
