I lived here for years (2010-2012?)During that time I had numerous issuesWhen I first moved in, my counters (bathroom and kitchen) were covered in paint splattersI understood that while it was not very professional, these things happenI chose to be happy that the apartment had obviously been freshly painted instead of worrying about the mess I could cleanHowever, this changed when the dishwasher had water standing in the bottom with floating food particles - very smelly surprise when opening that door! Maintenance did not arrive until days later to repair this smelly mess My second biggest complaint is that I called for MONTHS before moving out that my washer was not working properlyEach time, the maintenance tech would come out 48-hours after I called and tell me the washer was fineI showed him where the washer was rubbing/peeling and he insisted the washer was fine no matter how much I argued with himThis was a very small washer/dryer stacked set so I could only wash a few items at a time - also super frustrating, but I was just happy to have a laundry facility in my apartment homeThe real lemon came when after I moved out, they tried to bill me for a replacement washer for the same issue I had been calling them about! My third complaint was the excessive notices I received regarding pet wasteI would call each time and tell them it was the neighbors below me with the pug, and they would simply keep sending my notices with "fines" they would remove once I called themIt was a time consuming cycle that was just frustrating through and through!

Illegally took money out of my security depositDenied basic requests to improve living conditions
The complex requires a $security deposit when you move in, which I paidThe issue is that when I moved out on February 16th 2018, my lease ended February 28th 2018, the landlord Rick Koontz agreed that no damages would be chargedThat means I am entitled to my full $deposit backOn March 17th I get a statement from the complex saying that they are charging me $for utilities from January 1st to February 28thI emailed Rick asking for that to be adjusted because I paid $on March 1st for my January utilitiesHe emailed back saying there was an error on the statement and the $was for February onlyOur utilities are billed months in arrears so the $is not due until April 1st payable by the 5thI asked twice over email for that to be billed to me and not taken out of my security deposit, after my second request Rick replied "the check has already been mail
