In this specific case the warranty that was renewed was not a manufacture warranty  but an office warranty. Although the manufacture will repair the instrument(s) It has to be sent in and processed through a provider with an account number to the manufacture. This incurs cost to the provider....

The warranty that was purchased was through our office to cover our costs to the manufacture for a year.
