Was called out to repair customers AC which was stuck in the heating mode ,it being a heatpump the control board was not switching the reversing valve over needed replacing Control board ordered part customer did not have money to pay for part agreed to hold on to check till Friday trusting that it would be good went ahead and installed board found out that the thermostat was also shorted , informed customer that a seven-day programmable thermostat would cost her about $but a non-programmable would be at $but agreed to give it to her for $she said she did not have any money so I still installed thermostat and never got paid she called back saying that the thermostat was not working she said she had to set it on 75° and the thermostat also read 75° but felt that it should be at degrees where she felt comfortable she wanted a seven-day programmable thermostat but did not want to pay for it which she had not paid for the previous haven't heard from her she has not shown any work done by any other contractor has been over four weeks

would be good went ahead and installed board found out that the thermostat was also shorted , informed customer that a seven-day programmable thermostat would cost her about $375 but a non-programmable would be at $200 but agreed to give it to her for $100 she said she did not have any money so I still installed thermostat and never got paid she called back saying that the thermostat was not working she said she had to set it on 75° and the thermostat also read 75° but felt that it should be at 77 degrees where she felt comfortable she wanted a seven-day programmable thermostat but did not want to pay for it which she had not paid for the previous haven't heard from her she has not shown any work done by any other contractor has been over four weeks

I am writing in regards to  claim #[redacted] rejection statement.  Please forgive me for being tardy in my response, but I have not been able to get on my computer much due to my work load.  The information sent to you from the business is totally false.  I paid them a check on May 17, 2017 for the amount of $335.00 for the control panel.  The gentleman told me that the part would not be in until Friday, May 19, 2017, but I had to pay that day in order for him to order the part, therefore I told him to insure my money DO NOT cash my check until the part is here.  I never stated that I could not afford it.  I have bank statements, and a copy of there receipt showing I paid.  I also have the receipt of the gentleman that came and fixed the air conditioner, and it was a $5.00 fuses, and NOT a $335.00 control panel.  The gentleman stated the reason it would not cool off was because it was the fuse not the panel, therefore my house has been cold very since the fuse has been replaced. The thermostat was damaged from the worker from Heart of Texas A/C, and when I looked up the thermostat online that he installed it cost $39.00, but he charged me $100.  When he came back to recheck my unit after I complained it wasn't cooling, that's when he stated he could put in a $300. thermostat, but I would have to pay him right then.   I tried to call to the office to talk with his supervisor ([redacted]), but no one answered, and I left him a message, and he never call me back.  I had no idea what type of thermostat I needed, but I felt he should have replace it with one compatible to the one he shorted out.Sincerely yours,[redacted]
