After placing this complaint, I wrote the company again letting them know. I heard back from a supervisor a few days later who said I would receive my money back. I did receive my money back about a few days after that. I'm very thankful they did...
pay me back the cost I had spent without too many issues. The supervisor said she totally understands my perspective and even didn't blame me for placing this complaint.
