Review: I was called via telephone by a [redacted] for a job interview ,

I showed up to the location where his office was , upon my arrival I walked in the office I told one of their employees

I was there to see [redacted] for a job interview , I then spoke to [redacted] and it wasn't a job interview I learned it was a staffing agency , having no experience with staffing agencies , [redacted] said to me in order for me to be employed by his superiors I would need an OSHA certificate that would cost me $95.00 USD ( I gave him $100.00 USD cash ) and he didn't give me back my change so instead he wrote out a receipt for ($100.00USD)

So I agreed to take a OSHA training course with the guarantee of employment . He then told me there's an additional $199.00 USD for a uniform and other materials needed for the job, I paid the remaining balance of ( $199.00 USD cash)the date of my training I received my receipt for $199.00 and was instructed that the training was not at their location it was in Manhattan ( [redacted])

I then show up for training and the director of this place ( [redacted] ) is a man of vulgar vocabulary and very little respect for the students attending, [redacted] then told the students that our staff agency did not have a contract with his company and we would have to leave because of lack of space and return Monday for training . I return to the place of training on Monday to find the doors locked and a note on the door saying there's no OSHA training classes. I called [redacted] to demand an explanation for the reason why it was closed and why they didn't have the courtesy of calling to let me know that the training classes are closed , I couldn't reach him so I left a voice mail and I received no return calls or text message or any kind of response , I then showed up back to the main office to demand my refund because this place is fraudulent , I spoke to a [redacted] the main director of heart beat training inc . I explain to him the run arounds [redacted] has been giving me and I do not wish to continue any kind of training with them and wanted my money back I showed him my receipt and contract and he tried to feed me more lies ,

He then told me to come back another day for my refund which I haven't received .

In closing I just want my refund back , I work hard for that money and they do not have the right to lie to people and take their money and then hide and lie to them , these are fraudulent people and have victimized many other people

Please help .Desired Settlement: I want my refund back , and I want these people to be exposed for fraudulent acts.

Review: I was referred to this agency through my school that's in California for employment help and I had an interview with the lady [redacted] on October [redacted]. I paid them $100 and she said I could pay the remaining later because I had just moved to NY and didn't have a job. The day of the class I called and said I couldn't afford to pay the rest of the balance and asked if I could just get a refund and the teacher said no and yelled at me. He said that I have to pay the balance. I don't think that's right at all. I am also mad at my school for not keeping their promise of looking for me for a job. Instead they looked for an agency to find me one and one with bad customer service.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back because I don't like the way I was treated. They can mail me a check. Or wire me the money because I don't want to deal with them at all.

Hi I'd like to cancel my complaint and compliant the agency. They handled the situation much better.

Review: On July [redacted] 2013 I answered an ad on [redacted] in the "General Labor" section for an exterminator's position. On July [redacted] of 2013 I went in to Heartbeat Security for an interview for a job in the Pest Control Industry. I was told by [redacted](the Interviewer) that I need to have my pest control license and that Heartbeat would help me do so. I was told that the course was two weeks and in the third and last week I would take the test for my license. I was also told that there was on the job training in pest control with pay. My classes started on August ** 2013 and ended on September [redacted] 2013. The course lasted for four weeks and there was no on the job training provided. I was also harassed by [redacted] for my payments for the course and books three of the four weeks of training. There was no on-the-job training and no job referrals which [redacted] told me that I would get. I was also told that I would be placed in a pest control company before or after the classes was over. There was no job placement or referrals given after the classes were over. I thought the ad on [redacted] was for a job, not a career opportunity.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for $500 if at all possible.

Review: This all started through an advertisement on [redacted]. The advertisement stated that they were looking for people to repair electronic devices and the hourly wage AS advertised 11-15 USD or if you had a bachelor degree, 25 USD. In my case I have an electrical engineering degree and working with electronics was one of my hobbies, so I thought this would be a great job to earn extra cash. I sent my resume and had the interview. [redacted] was the person interviewing me. He told me that I must pay 90 USD upfront to sign up for my electronic repair courses. The reason being was because if I took these courses I would be able to repair electronics without voiding the warranty. The payment is also for job placement with the notation that if they can't find you a job within 90 days, you'll get a full refund. So I paid the 90 USD with the verbal agreement with [redacted] that he will get me a job that will pay me 25 USD hourly, just like how it was advertised on the [redacted] ad. Since June **, 2014 of my payment, I was never assigned to any electronic repair classes. I was only called once for a job placement, for [redacted], which had nothing to do with electronic repairs nor would they ever pay 25 USD hourly. After this disappointment and being lied too, I really wanted my refund. So about 3 days after my first job placement I went to the office to request a refund. No one was able to help me, they claimed that only [redacted] can give me my refund and he wasn't there. So a week or so later, I went back again to speak to [redacted], this time he was there but then told me I had to wait 5-7 business days. He sent me an e-mail, while I was there, confirming that it will be process and I will be receiving it in cash. This was on June **, 2014. So I returned to the office today June **, to get my refund but now I have to wait 7 more days because it was another guy who does the refunds not [redacted]. Its almost been two month just to get my 90 USD back. I feel like I'm being scammed.Desired Settlement: I want my full $90.00 refund. I have been falsely advertised and wasted my time with this company. I want to also be compensated for my traveling time (MTA fairs) of $10.00.

Sincerely,

Review: My boyfriend, [redacted], contacted Heart Beat Training with regards to a job training and job placement. My boyfriend paid the ninety nine dollars ($99) fee and signed the contract. He went to the training class and received a certificate upon completion. [redacted] contacted the [redacted], [redacted], after he completed the course. We were skeptical about the fee however [redacted] agreed that the fee would be returned. [redacted] informed my boyfriend that he had a job interview scheduled. [redacted] said the [redacted] already had my boyfriend's resume and wanted to see him. [redacted] went to the job interview and the [redacted] did not know of any interview or [redacted]. The [redacted] mentioned that the company seems like a scam. He does not go through an agency for his employees. My boyfriend contacted [redacted] and he said he had an another opportunity. [redacted] made no contact with my boyfriend. He said he sent text messages to my boyfriend. My boyfriend did not receive any additional text messages or phone calls from [redacted]. I contacted [redacted] because I wanted a refund. [redacted] has not been available to me or my boyfriend. My boyfriend and [redacted] had an argument and [redacted] referred the matter to his associate. His associate is [redacted] and he is no longer employed with the company. I was supposed to pick up the money at their offices however [redacted] was sick and I had to work late. I requested the money be returned through [redacted]. I was informed that would not be an issue. [redacted] never provided the reference or confirmation number so I can receive the money. [redacted] failed on his agreement to provide employment to my boyfriend. He failed to provide a refund. I have been trying to get a refund from this company. [redacted] does not call however he prefers to text. We left him numerous messages and I feel that I need the Revdex.com to intervene. I feel that I will not receive my money back. This place is a scam and this matter should be investigated.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded. I feel the Revdex.com needs to investigate this business.
