I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I reject the business response: I certainly fully knew that the engine was used. All I did was drive the car----what could've happened to it?!!! BUT, the radiator was NEW ( although I believe it was not installed correctly with the hose leaking antifreeze all over the inside of my hood---warranty also written on the invoice ). There is/was a ONE YEAR WARRANTY on the used/rebuilt engine----written on the invoice. He is NOT HONORING IT. Maybe he should seek a refund from the place that he got the used engine. He fully knew I was from Indianapolis, IN and could not readily bring it back if something went wrong----and I DID ask him about that. He informed me that Auto Zone was where he bought the radiator---what did that mean?! I can't take it back there! I was concerned about the engine. It ran OK on the trip home ( 5 1/2 hrs ) and after that problems arose that Pep Boys discovered and faxed [redacted] White the invoice with the repairs and , actually spoke to him on the phone at least once---until [redacted] White also did not return their calls or answer the phone if from them, just like he did with me. I do expect compensation/refund for this poor business practice and workmanship.
