So excited to find a ventless fireplace that was advertised as easy to install We had the propane configuration already set up and thought piece of cake based on advertisement We received the fireplace and the instructions inside showed need an additional assembly to installMy husband searched for the parts at hardware stores and home improvement stores to no availNot being licensed plumber we called the local gas company who was going to charge a lot for the installation and parts This was middle of October I submitted request to return and was told I need to pay for shipping and 20% re-stocking feeNow the initial price for the unit was a good deal but I paid for initial shipment as well ~$in shipping costs plus $ish for the unit and now ~$for restocking They said to make sure it was returned in the same condition that it was received in Not being in the shipping or packing business we did our best On 10/I was given authorization to return so I did using UPS It took a while for us to return it, mainly because the unit is pretty heavy and getting it in the box was toughMy husband has a bad back and we need to enlist help to do it, then get it to UPS The received it on 12/and said it was damagedthey said the logs were just thrown in and door was damaged the last I spoke to them was 12/so I updated the case today to get status I am out >$and I don't have a fireplace

I would think twice about ordering anything from this company They are very slow and will not back the products they sell I ordered a Gas Insert and had to wait days for the Decorative front - Nothing was ever mentioned about this part being back-ordered, in fact I had to call *** to find out that is was back-ordered I would not recommend ordering from this company - they simple won't stand behind what they sell

Not being licensed plumber we called the local gas company who was going to charge a lot for the installation and parts. This was middle of October 2016. I submitted request to return and was told I need to pay for shipping and 20% re-stocking fee. Now the initial price for the unit was a good deal but I paid for initial shipment as well ~$200 in shipping costs plus $500 ish for the unit and now ~$100 for restocking. They said to make sure it was returned in the same condition that it was received in. Not being in the shipping or packing business we did our best. On 10/26 I was given authorization to return so I did using UPS. It took a while for us to return it, mainly because the unit is pretty heavy and getting it in the box was tough. My husband has a bad back and we need to enlist help to do it, then get it to UPS. The received it on 12/22 and said it was damaged. they said the logs were just thrown in and door was damaged. the last I spoke to them was 12/6 so I updated the case today to get status. I am out >$800.00 and I don't have a fireplace.
