Review: Patio set with 2 tables and 6 chairs was delivered on 6/4/13. The base on two of the swivel chairs was broken on removal from the boxes. I was told at the time that the bases would be replaced and it would take 2-3 weeks to get the parts. As of August 6, the repairs have not been made. The store says the problem is with the manufacturer, Winston outdoor furniture.Consumers should be warned not to accept any damaged merchandise as it will not be repaired or replaced in a timely manner. At this point, it's been a little over two months.Desired Settlement: If the repairs are made, this complaint can be closed.

After speaking with [redacted] from the company on 8/8/13 he stated upon delivery of the parts on 8/6/13 the company fixed the chairs. This was communicated to the customer prior to the customer filing the complaint.

Review: I purchased 4 chaise lounges, a glider and 2 swivel rocking chairs on March 28, 2013 and paid in full at the time of the order. They were delivered on May 19, 2013. The 2 gentlemen who delivered the pieces called the damage to my attention immediately, but offered to leave the furniture until it could be replaced, since we had no where else to sit. The metal base of one of the swivel chairs is broken (about half of it is missing) and one of the chaises was scratched, dented and the sling was stained with something that won't come off. At the advice of the delivery men, I did not sign the receipt for delivery. I have never been contacted about this incident by the store. I have called them at least 3 times and went back to the store in person last week to discuss the issue with the owner. Each time I was told that it would be fixed. Earlier in August, I was told over the phone that the replacement just came in from the manufacturer and would be delivered the following week. When that didn't happen and no one called, I went into the store on August 21. I was told that they just got a shipment in from the manufacturer and the replacements would be delivered no later than August 26. Again, I was not called and I still have broken furniture. I have repeatedly been told that this is the fault of the furniture manufacturer. However, tonight I discovered by reading other Revdex.com complaints that another person who received a broken chair base in June got their replacement earlier this month. These stories just don't add up and no customer concern is being shown by the store's management.Desired Settlement: I want a replacement of the broken swivel rocker base and the complete sling chase so that my furniture matches and is functional. If this can't be done in the next week, I think I deserve a monetary refund as well since he's had my money since March and I have not had adequate use of the furniture all summer.

Review: On Feb 24, 2015, I ordered (and paid for in full) a fireplace insert from Hearth and Patio Shop. The total price was $736.51. I have still not seen delivery of the fireplace insert.

My wife and I call about once a week and get a new excuse each time as to why it has not been delivered. We have yet to get a call from the store with an update unless we called them first. We ordered the fireplace in Februarywith the intent of putting our house on the market in June. June is here and we still have no fireplace insert. We are at the point now where we are just going to have to use the insert we already have.Desired Settlement: At this point, I just want the entire price refunded and the order canceled. I will not except store credit because we will never do buisness with this company again. The refund can either be back to the credit card we used to pay or cash.
