We bought a spec home from Heartland Homes last fall Part of the purchase agreement was to provide sod and fine grade the yard This was a substandard installation with very uneven ground I pointed this out to them right away I said to one of the owners that it appeared that the sod had not even been rolled He said it had not and then their standard answer of we'll take care of it After repeated attempts to get them to take care of this, nothing has been done A couple of weeks ago one of the owners was standing in my neighbors driveway and when I asked him to come and look at the lawn he refused and drove away I believe that not only wasn't the sod rolled but the yard was not graded level and smooth There are actually holes all over along with humps in the sod I have never been treated as badly by a business as I have been by this so called business This is not the only issue I have had with these people They replaced my front door last fall after a couple of weeks the door would hardly open or shut I stopped at their office and told them about it and again I got the we'll take care of it answer A couple of days later I got a call from their office saying they would be there the next day to take care of the problem weeks later and no one had shown up When I called over there to ask about it the owner got on the phone and started in on me I guess I wasn't supposed to complain
