[redacted] and [redacted] moved into Arboretum Villages Apartments on 8/8/15. We discovered the apartment vacant on 11/6/2015. The balance due on this account is from: Two months' notice $2618 (not given),...

and two month penalty $2618, balance on account of $118.88, utilities 10/1-11/6 $40.74, and repayment of a concession of $1309. Their security deposit of $300, plus pet deposit $100, and .01 in interest was subtracted to bring the balance due to $6304.61.
The fees charged for move in are: $150 administration fee, $85 application fee, $100 pet deposit, $300 security deposit, rent from 8/8/15-8/31/15 $1013, and $30 for pet rent.
All the charges listed are present in the lease agreement and addendum's signed by the Mr. & Mrs. [redacted]. I have attached the 60-day notice to vacate and early lease termination addendum's.
The apartment remains unrented.
Every maintenance topic was addressed within a two day time frame.
We regret the [redacted]' feel they have been mistreated. Arboretum Villages makes every effort to accommodate our resident and provide exceptional service.

1/12/2016 In response to Arboretum Village Response:
We have never had any issues of lack of professionalism and upkeep as we had at this
HEARTLAND LOCATION, ENCLOSED IS ALL OF OUR DOCUMENTATION.
They are BODLY lying were unhappy because it was an unkept non contract complying slum that affected our health! and we feel at least they should be shut down, but thats an issue that will be addressed in time.
Please believe me when I say our credit is perfect our professions are customer service based, Medical and Running a City,and this place is a shame to that field, we are Thankfully now healthy and happily in a complex who doesn't miss treat and break the contract THEY promised us.
NOONE I repeat NOONE fixed issues..they rarely if ever returned a call or came by to look & IT WAS NEVER EVER EVER fixed in 2 days ..2 weeks would've been a blessing!! LIES LIES LIES This is why we left!!! Why else would we move 1300 miles to leave???? Prior we lived in an upscale professionally run apartment who cared about the renters,compared to this mismanaged property its sad they are in business,and again complete neglect of there business decorum and morals were apprehensive and aloof to complaints and concerns of the consumer/renter .
PLEASE NOTE whomever the respondent listed is as we never spoke to or were instructed to a manager we weren't given that info or any -NO- help to relieve our issues while there.AGAIN WHY WE LEFT! As for apartment not rented we knocked on door and someone answered Im assuming as you can see they pourpously renovated during this time and tustve been a contractor, on our dime to cover up this slum of a place..sad just ABUSE and sick.
Ive enclosed as well there BIG special to move in which is THE ONLY reason we did nowhere did they say if we leave thats null and void nowhere So again scams and lies. And again we left because of unlivable conditions of the Mold ,unkept dirty rodent infested apparently and extreme neglected environment we complained consistently about with NO help and never even got a "How can we make it right, only got "oh well we got yelled at because of the bad review you gave us on yelp" seriously?! again pure neglect to the consumer and non compliance to there end of the contract period.
If they choose to revamp apartment, as they desperately should have , thats there choice it was listed $400 less one month earlier so this is an obvious once again abuse to the consumer by making us pay for them to rent what they told us was "fine" to live in...unacceptable and I don't accept there offer . I hope as a Business management company upholding the rights of the consumer you can see the obvious neglect and lies we've enclosed. This is blatant big company abuse of those they can bully I feel discriminated and neglected. I feel they took advantage of out of state movers to the max.
Im sure they are not use to people complaining or for that matter if needed following thru with Housing and development in state of Illinois, Village , State Licensing and whomever we can show as to make it safer for others NOT to have to live in this disgusting and truly, But if this is not resolved as a business /consumer obvious complaint with no question of who's right/wrong,then I suppose it goes to these chapters next as well as every outlet of media we can get help from.
Id like to avoid that but Im dedicated now for purpose of the rude and calls non caring response sent by them apparently they believe they are above the law.
We as consumers however know we have rights too and filth mold non working appliances lack of repair is NOT acceptable and thats how companies get shut down.
There bullies with a disregard to the renters they lure in and then hit w charges not listed and unsanitary conditions to live in its frankly a scam...and I feel they should be fined.
We did not give 2 months notice a as it got to the point my asthma was a weekly doctor visit ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH and we told them we would be leaving because of issues not being addressed. We would like to resolve this prior to legal counsel if this is not acceptable then other measures will be taken and continued until there exposed for the consumers well being overall.
We want charges dropped or greatly reduced as they did not hold up to there end of the contract as you can see enclosed.
I would truly hope the Revdex.com will back us on this effort as enclosed is full proof of the living conditions while we rented 8/2015-11/2015
