It was a pleasure working with Susanne and Sarah - who both put heart and soul into giving the retriever puppies the best possible start in life. We found them to be very professional and accommodating.
We are thoroughly enjoying our playful and affectionate new puppy (now 14 weeks old) and appreciating the loving & highly attentive good start he got in life.

I had a wonderful experience with hearts of gold. They were easy to work with, friendly and helpful with any questions I had. Their goal of breeding exceptional English cream golden retrievers with great temperament was exceeded. I got a beautiful little boy from them and he already had an understanding of socialization and house training. I am very happy with my new little boy and the Hearts of Gold organization.

Hearts of Gold was wonderful to work with in getting our puppy! After much searching we selected Hearts of Gold after we lost our previous dog. They are professional breeders and required us to sign a contract agreeing to certain terms, showing that they really care about the puppies. Susanne kept in touch with us before and after the litter we selected was born. We were able to come out for a visit about a month after the litter was born to pick out our puppy. At that time we were able to see the facilities and other litters that weren't old enough yet to go to their new homes. Susanne & Leo are very kind people and showed us around their property. It was clean and well maintained, and you could tell that the puppies and dogs were happy and being very well cared for. At 8 weeks we were able to bring our puppy home. He was vaccinated, a micro-chip was installed and we were given a registration with PetKey. All transactions were handled professionally and with care. I would recommend Hearts of Gold to anyone who is looking for a quality, healthy and well-bred dog!

When we lost our two beloved Golden's last summer we searched for a good breeder and found [redacted] at Hearts Of Gold. She was so nice to us and understood our heartbreak. We put a deposit on a puppy from Jake and Nika's litter that was born Aug. 18th and was able to bring our boy home in Oct. What a wonderful experience dealing with them. And Wrigley is the perfect dog. He is so smart and just so handsome. He has done his A K C Star Puppy class and did wonderful. We would highly recommend Hearts Of Gold for a puppy. The place is so clean and [redacted] takes such great care of all the puppies from the day they are born till after they go home. I have written her a few times asking questions months after we got home and she is always there for me. You won't find a better breeder. We will go back for another puppy and this time a little girl. [redacted]

Susan and Leo, greetings from [redacted]. We are very proud of our Hearts Of Gold Cana Island Sam as the following will show. Sam is a fabulous dog and has accomplished the following always at the top of his class. He has taken Basic Puppy, Intermediate, and Advanced classes followed by passing the AKC Canine Good Citizen requirement. This was followed by becoming a Registered Therapy Dog in the Alliance Therapy Dog program. He draws all the attention wherever he goes -- from Florida to the Aurora Hospital here in Green Bay where he makes his visit cheering up everyone he meets.
We have had a great year and a half with Sam and look forward to many more.

We cant say enough about the entire expierience; from the initial,informative friendly conversation to the time we actually picked up our wonderful new addition to our family. The young male pup, now known as " Buddy Cash " is now 11 - months old. Cash, is an icredidble result of the fine breeding and boarding that Cindy and I expierenced with Hearts of Gold Retrievers LLC. The owners of this very fine establishment deliver only the best, nurtured with love and dicipline. I would recomend them highly to anyone looking for an incredible addition into there family...

I was so impressed with this breeder!! The facility was wonderful and homey for the dogs and pups. Hearts of Gold sets you up for success when going home with your puppy. The pups already have a good idea of what potty training is and crate training is already started. We even got food and supplement suggestions along with micro-chipping. The owner even showed my wife and I bloodlines, pedigrees and health certificates! We know we are getting a very good and healthy puppy for our family! These dogs are top notch!

We thought we had picked a wonderful breeder. Especially after research for many months but to our disappointment it was not so. We found out a month ago our 7 month old puppy Beau has elbow dysplasia which is HEREDITARY.
When I called to talk to Suzanne about this she said our contract was voided because we didn't give Beau the supplements she required. We did give him the supplements but they gave him diarrhea so we switched. Our poor pup has to go thru hours of water therapy and already has arthritis in both if his elbows. This is costing us a small fortune and she has offered us nothing only if we start to give him the supplements she uses. Per our vet who specializes in orthopedics fir animals says the supplant he us on now works great. [redacted] We are very disappointed. I works NOT recommend this breeder.
