I bought hearing aids for my wife and took out a loan to pay for them. My wife returned them a few days later on May 23rd 2019 since she was not satisfied with the product. She was told that she would get a full refund but as of yet the loan has not been credited for the refund. I have made sever attempts to getting to resolved with HearUSA but was unsuccessful. Now I am getting collection calls and my credit report is being negativity impacted.

Good Morning ***,

I apologize for the delay in this case. It had not come to me here at the Corporate Office. I believe this was sent to one of our offices the one in Victorville, and they forwarded it to a Division Manager who was not sure of the correct procedure for handling these complaints.

I became involved when the Patient *** left a message on the Customer Service line. I called her and spoke with her for a long time. She was blaming the front office girl Beverly Lacey in our office for this mess, but it was not her fault at all. She did send all the correct document s to the Corporate office to cancel the loan. I am not sure what happened next, as I am not in the Accounting Department but in Customer Care. I did inquire with the Manager of Accounts Payable Cammie Trusdale and she explained that we do not do business with *** any longer since May 31, 2019. The have cut of all access to the patients accounts for us to be able to go in and view for status.

I have tried to contact *** Credit which is not easy, on ***’s account and the last I left off was as my enclosed email states. I had arranged a 3 -way call with *** from ***, Andrew *** and myself. They (*** and the ***s) were supposed to speak on Friday 10/11 or Monday 10/14 and *** was to let them know where they were at. I asked for a follow up call on Monday but was told it would have to come from the ***s since *** could not speak with me. I have heard nothing. I will assume at this point, that *** is working with the ***s directly. She is entitled to her loan being null and void and should have been since May or beginning of June. Why *** Credit is threatening Collections is crazy, she does not have the hr. aids. I have sent you all the necessary paperwork that I have sent to ***.

At this point I would think it is up to them to finalize this nightmare for the ***s. Let me know if you need anything else from me or the Accounting Department.
