Heat Recovery & Towing

On September 11, 2016, at approximately 1:30am my car was towed by the towing company called Heat Recovery & TowingMy car was wrongfully taken due to the incompetence of the towing staff who did not check the VIN # and License Plate properly The towing staff was looking for a car with the same License tag # as mine but with a License plate of another stateThe towing staff were very intimidating and scandalous, since I have a gate they were not able to come knocking on my door and initially I was not aware who was towing my vehicle and the reason for itI called the police and filed a stolen vehicle report, the City of [redacted] Police officer who responded to my call was extremely helpfulAt around 3AM, the officer calls me and informs me that my vehicle has been recovered and was wrongfully towedThe owner has no even called me to apologize for what occurred, a simple apology goes a long way

When vehicle was repossessed it was improperly parked causing major scratches and gouges in the paint from front to back In early morning of 9/my vehicle (Tundra) was repossessed by Heat recoveryThe vehicle was parked in their yard until 9/when it was picked up by meWhen I received the vehicle at no point was there space nor an opportunity to survey the condition of the vehicle at their yardUpon receipt of payment they encouraged me to immediately drive off their yard, to which I complied only stopping momentarily to take some items from the truck, at which point I did not yet notice the damage to the vehicleUpon arrival to my destination (miles away) I recognized the damages to my carUpon inquiry with the company, they advised me to contact my bank to which I adhered and then returned to them, and they claimed the damage was pre-existingUpon review of the vehicle photo report the damage was not present when they took possession of my vehicleWhen speaking
