Heat4Less Reviews (2)

December 8, 2014Dear [redacted],I am writing in response to a customer complaint you received concerning our company on November 21, 2014. In July, a sales representative from the [redacted] company visited our location, and an agreement was reached for Heat4Less to become the customer service/repair center for the [redacted] products. We fulfilled this agreement; however, approximately 6 weeks ago, [redacted] told me that their company was being put up for sale, we would no longer be reimbursed for any repair, shipping, or warranty costs, and they would be shutting their company down, including the phones. If the phones were shut down, the customers would not be able to get their heater repaired. We agreed to keep the phone number open so Heat4Less could continue to service [redacted] customers, but we would no longer be reimbursed for our services. This meant that all warranties would no longer be valid. The cost to keep the phone open and pay for the labor to repair the [redacted]s has been costing our company $10000. per month. When we received the customer's [redacted] on October 6th, we determined that the heater needed a specific part. Unfortunately, the part was out of stock and it would be 5-6 weeks before we received it. We finally received the part; however, we got it after this new situation occurred. We had many [redacted]s in our service center that arrived between the months of June and October. All these customers had to be informed about the new situation and that their warranties were no longer valid. We began to call customers in the order of when we received their heaters. This particular customer called us before we called her. At that time, we provided the customer with as much detail as we could. We never intentionally misled or hid any information from them.Regarding Heat4Less breaching the warranty, this is false because it is [redacted] who breached the warranty. Also, this customer is not unique in the payment she had to make. Our technician is fixing all the heaters for free and we are only charging the customer for parts and shipping. We are not making any profit; we are only trying to help customers who are caught in this difficult situation. With regards to the [redacted] website, we were not involved in setting up or paying for it. We are not iPleater and have no responsibility or control over their website. We sincerely apologize to the customer for their financial responsibility, but Heat4Less is currently unable to honor [redacted] warranties. The [redacted] company, not Heat4Less, offered the warranties on their products.Because of this complaint to Revdex.com we have instructed the [redacted] phone numbers to be disconnected. We do not want our company to get a bad reputation for another companies failures. If you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to contact us.Sincerely,Jeffrey POwner, Heat4Less

Attached please find the manual, which includes the warranty (found on page 7).  This can also be found on www.[redacted].com/service, which I was told is now closed.   Each time I've contacted the company, they've informed me that the unit was under warranty, but that the policy was...

changed in mid-Oct because of a business deal between [redacted] and Heat4less.Please let me know if you need additional information.Best,Lakecia F[redacted]
