I called Heaven Sent to repair a sprinkler that was broken in the month of May. *** came out to repair it. Sent me a bill for $75. I called on May 30th to question the bill. I stated that I should not have to pay it, because time and again their lawn service employees break our sprinklers and we end up fixing 90% of them. My husband could not fix it because he was having back surgery. I received no answer, so I called again the following week, left a message, and still no reply. I did receive a bill with the charge taken off. I figured everything was okay. Then on July 12th, I called and left a message (no one ever answers the phone there anymore), to inquire why our lawn was not cut in July. Two days later, ***, the owner, called me back. He stated we stopped cutting your lawn because you would not pay for the broken sprinkler. It had to be fixed at the shoulder and it was not their fault. He stated it took him 45 minutes and he knocked on my door to tell me, but my kids told him I was in the shower. (I confirmed this later and no such thing happened. I was at work when it was fixed.) He then proceeded to tell me it is not worth for him to come out to my property anymore. $30 a cut is not worth it for him. He has lost all the other accounts in our neighborhood and he does not want to go through the guard gate. He blamed his incompetent son for not calling me last month to tell me they would not service my lawn anymore. If I would have known this sooner, I could have made arrangements to hire a competent, mature lawn service, that communicates effectively to their customers, especially when they don't want to be bothered with your account anymore.
No further contact by the busi At this point nothing can be done. *** obviously does not know how to run a business by communicating effectively to his customers. So he leaves it to his son, but it appears his son does not like to communicate as well.

I understand Ms. is upset that we chose to cancel servicing her lawn, however, I did knock on her door and asked her child to have her call me regardless of her confirmation contrary to this with her child. As a business owner, I am perplexed why she would continue to employ a company that was continually breaking her sprinklers. I would think she would have called in and complained about this but that is not the case. I would hope the Revdex.com would see she certainly didn't file a complaint then, only when I cancelled her service. In any event Ms. did not feel she should pay for the sprinkler repair and stated she would not be paying for the sprinkler repair. That being said, Heaven Sent decided we did not wish to have Ms. as a customer. We have been in business for over 25 years and have more than 400 customers. If I was such an unprofessional company, I would think there would be numerous complaints. I find the only complaints or bad reviews are usually from a past customer who doesn't believe they have to pay a service company for their services rendered. There are many other lawn maintenance companies in her community that she can contact and my not wishing to service her lawn in no way caused any damage to her lawn.
