Heaven Sent Nanny

After our nanny unexpectedly quit 6 months into her 12 month contract I called Julie (owner of Heaven Sent Nanny), expecting a replacement nanny or a minimum some guidance. We attempted to contact her via phone, text message and email over the next 14 days. She finally responded via text message saying, "the job you hired me to do was completed...I understand the nanny has left due to being mistreated... I feel its best we don't work together... good luck in your search." [I was shocked to hear our nanny left due to being "mistreated" (which conveniently is one of the only clauses to break the contract) especially since at our last check in she reiterated how much she loved living with us and our children.] I asked Julie if we could at least speak on the phone and she responded by saying "I have a busy schedule and there is nothing further to discuss.... good luck to you." Part of her placement fee is on going support, which clearly we did not receive. I could not believe she wouldn't even have a conversation with me. The way this was handled was not in line with what we would expect from a legitimate business.
