This consumer message was received by Revdex.com via email and is a copy/paste by **.On Jan 27th at 10:am I recieved a call from Mike the owner of Budget heating and coolingHe was very angry at me for filing a complaint against his business on the Revdex.comHe was angry that instead of contacting HSA Home Warranty service to complain that I complained with the Revdex.comI did actually file both a complaint with the company that contracted them out to us as well as Revdex.com and I also filed a complaint on the Revdex.com against HSA tooMike began get very nastyHe told me that he would be contacting HSA to tell them to not send any one else out to our home to service our furnaceThat due to us turning down their expensive furnace cleaning service that HSA informed them not to service our homeHSA pulled them off of our home because I filed a complaint against themHe then told me that he would be contacting the Revdex.com to let them know that they fulfilled their end of the contract with proof of invoice paper workHe is actually calling me as I'm typing this letter I'm sure to threaten me moreIm very unhappy with his behaviorIf I receive another call from him or anyone else inDesired Outcome:No contact what so ever!

Ms [redacted] , I think you had misinterpreted our response to imply that we were negligent in our diagnosis of your systemThe only person that was negligent in this situation unfortunately was you as the homeowner for failing to maintain your equipmentThis was obvious in the appearance of your condenser and the state in which we found your air filter in your furnace, which we have pictures of to support our diagnosis with your warranty companyFurthermore, we believe your complaint is without merit- however, we do not wish to engage in a war of words with you, ma'amWe were being more than accommodating by offering you a discounted cleaningWe have an impeccable service record with thousands of clients in northeast Ohio and our reputation proceeds usWe go out of our way to make all of our customers happy, unfortunately we can not please everyone We do not work for free as our technicians and office staff have families to supportAgain, I want to point out that if there was any negligence involved here it was unfortunately based off your actions and not ours and we stand behind that ma'amWe're sorry that you misinterpreted our response but we were trying to be as cordial as possibleWe REFUSE to offer anything more than we have to help rectify this situation, which would be a half price acid cleaning at $99, instead of the originally quoted $

We were indeed at Mrs***'s home on 8/3/Our technician found no power to the furnace due to the main power switch being off and that the air filter was extremely dirty due to a failure to maintain the equipmentHe removed the filter and turned on the furnaceHe also went outside to the
condenser to check it's operationHe noted that it was working properly with pressures being at psi (being between 70-75)You are right to believe that the technician should have informed you at that time that the condition of the coil was extremely poor and this will be addressed with him, but our team also knows that your warranty company does not cover any type of cleaning-thus it is generally not recommended unless absolutely needed as we try to be as cost effective as possibleHe did not foresee it causing this kind of damage to your condenser in such a short period of timeIn response to the last part of your complaint, your heat is working just fine as there are no concerns with your furnaceThe issue is outside at the condensing coilWe would be glad to offer you a discount for the acid cleaning if you wish to move forward

Unfortunately this warranty customers wait times were a result of the high demand of service calls received by his warranty companyThe Tech expert sent to his home expertly determined he had a leakRather than charge the system and walk away he communicated the failure to his warranty company so
that a proper repair can be madeIt was several days before we heard back from the company and at that point we were booking out 8-days so we had informed the customer and the warranty company that it would probably be best to dispatch another company that was not as busy to attend to this unitWe had not even collected a service fee in which this customer is responsibleI'm glad that the homeowner ultimately was able to have his unit repairedAnd also sorry for the hassle he endured

Hello,Firstly, I would like to apologize that you feel unsatisfied with the work performed by our companyHowever, on both of our visits to your home (two separate technicians), we advised you that your furnace was in desperate need of a deep cleaning due to the unit being neglected for years and that was ultimately the cause of your failureThe work we did perform we actually did not even get paid for due to the fact that under your home warranty you do not have coverage for maintenance related failuresAs you stated in your initial review, we went above and beyond to service you in a timely fashion, even when you didn't have the $service fee due to your warranty company at the time you made the initial service requestWe also performed MORE non-covered work by installing your thermostat at no additional feeThe last request that you put in on Friday, January 26th, we received at 406pmYou then messaged us on facebook at 4:pm indicating that you had no heat and we advised you that our soonest appointment was Monday and we recommended you contact HSA for another vendor to receive sooner serviceWe were nothing but professional, courteous, and understanding with you from the startIn regards to your point about being slow to service our clients, you are unfortunately not our client, you are HSA's client and we are only contracted to perform their work during business hoursAny and all problems, frustrations, or concerns should have been directed to them, not us
