I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meHowever, I would like to comment, the additional insurance coverage was never offered by this business as an option to me Also, I sent the owner the model number and a pic of damage to the tv box (as he requested) that was previously not there before the move The " TV was a typo on my part as I have another TVHe did have the model number and pic to verify my info I would also like to state that as the owner discussed a possible resolution with me over the phone after my first dispute, he never made another attempt to contact me regarding the issue (it's been over a week now)I would also like to include that this business charged my credit card almost dollars more than I signed off on after the move without me being aware of itThe owner did discuss with me after I addressed it with him, that the driver billed me wrong the first time Me being a business owner as well, I see this as a poor decision on their part If it was their mistake, then so be it and lesson learned At least they should have made sure the customer was fully aware of their mistake, and understood there would be an additional amount charged to their card.

Ms*** copied and pasted her yelp review to the Revdex.com site. Shas some of it right though. We did damage her table, but she didn't mention that we also had a furniture expert go repair it. It did take us a bit too long to get the table repaired as wellThere was a
miscommunication between us and our furniture guy.The difficulty with her claim that we lost boxes is that it is impossible to prove that we didn't lose boxes. I can't prove the non-existence of boxes. I can, however, show her signature on a form that says we completely cleared out the starting location of all contents to be moved, and a separate signature that says she inspected the truck to be sure it was empty before we drove off. With her signature stating she inspected that the first house was empty and that the truck was empty before we left the second house, it appears that we didn't leave anything behind or steal anything.As for the $check I sent her. I sent her the check even though I didn't have to. I sent the check, based on an average weight of pounds per box. The law states that moving companies owe cents per item per pound of damaged itemsWe can't prove there was damage because there were no boxes to be found, but my experience tells me that the boxes she claimed were missing probably didn't weigh the pounds the claims they did. That would be over pounds per box and that would be highly unlikely.If it will remedy this situation I will pay the difference she is seeking, but it is under objection that I will pay it. We can't prove that we lost any boxes in the first place, and we can't prove how much they weighed, even if we did lose the boxes

in the box, and when I spoke to our movers, they stated they did not drop or damage the box. This is an LG TV with model number [redacted].  This is also a discontinued item.However, I have discussed this with her personally and discussed her frustrations at that time and potential resolutions.  Of note, the TV is actually a 65 inch TV instead of an 80.  The move was $360.00.  Customer did not purchase any additional moving valuation to protect at a higher level beyond the .60 per pound, and again this was pre-boxed upon moving in the original package.  The state requirement is .60 per pound, and this TV weighs 92 pounds, which would give $55.20.  Heavenly Care Moving will give her above and beyond this at $360.00, or the full cost of her move.  We feel this is beyond fair and equitable given the circumstances discussed above (boxed item that was originally moved by family into a storage).Thank you again and please let me know if there are any further questions.
