Heavenly Pines Fine Jewelry & Gifts Inc Reviews (2)

I gave a ring to this jeweler for rhodium coating and did not receive my ring back. He returned a different ring to me,of lesser value. On [redacted] 27, 2014 I took my wedding ring and anniversary ring into Heavenly Pines Fine Jewelry for rhodium coating. The anniversary ring had 11 round diamonds totaling .75 Ct. I have the original bill of sale and an appraisal from a jeweler who had resized the ring for me. Both state the total carat weight as .75 ct. On June 14, 2014 I picked the ring up but as I was in a hurry, I didn't examine it closely. Within several days I realized that the ring given to me by Heavenly Pines was not my ring, the one I had taken in. On June 20 I returned to the store and told the owner tat this was not my ring.He insisted that it was. My ring had a crack in the bottom caused by a bad resizing job. The ring he gave me had no such defect. There were other details of the ring that I explained to the owner which differed from the ring he gave me. My ring was more solid with only a small hole under each diamond. The ring he said was mine had a lattice work under the diamonds. I finally took the ring he insisted was mine to another jeweler for an appraisal. This jeweler at [redacted] in [redacted] said that the total carat weight of this ring was .50 ct not the .75 ct of my ring. As this is a matter of "he said, she said" concerning the ring I took to Heavenly Pines, I have not filed a police report but may at some point.Desired SettlementI would like the owner to investigate where my ring is.If he mixed it up with another then find out who the mix up was with and get it back. I really want the ring the husband gave me for our 40th Anniversary back. And I would appreciate his admission that he made a mistake. He has treated me like I was lying as he claims that in 60+ years of business he has never made a mistake.Business Response At the time, we only had one wedding band to Rhodium. Her ring had a crack in the shank which we repaired. The 3/4ct. TW of the diamond is correct and can only be weighed after removed from the ring. The ring also fits her perfectly.Consumer Response The ring in question (my ring) was an Anniversary ring not a wedding band.I wore the ring for 11 years and I knew it in detail. The ring Mr.[redacted] gave me was not the same ring I gave him. [redacted] appraised the total diamond weight as .50 ct not the .75 ct Mr.[redacted] claims. I understand that mistakes can be made but wish that there was some effort on Heavenly Pines behalf to work with me. Their flat refusal to consider that there was a mix-up has cost me great anxiety. I just want the ring back that my husband gave me. And as to the ring fitting me perfectly, I was able to wear my ring on my thumb as well as on my ring finger. This ring will only fit on my ring finger. Final Business Response We would first like to say that a wedding ring and anniversary ring are the same style. The crack in the ring was fixed and as we said before, this was the only ring we had at the time.

Desired SettlementHBJ PAY US $4715 Consumer Response This is response to HBJ attorney's letter to Revdex.com 9/11/2014.My wife's black Opal in ring setting was broken by HPJ Sept 2012The ring was purchased in 1999 from [redacted] of Sydney Australia. I did not keep purchase receipt and do not remember price (15 years has passed). The HPJ letter to Revdex.com stated "Original (Broken Opal) was of inferior Quality". Also stated in the letter "Secondly, Mr [redacted] represented to Mr [redacted] he purchased the ring for $2500". These statements are not true. No cost information for original ring/opal was provided to Mr [redacted] since none was available. Also the last time Mr [redacted] saw the Opal,Sept 2012, it was broken and he could notand did not do an assessment of the Opal.It is now 2 years since HPJ broke the Opal. He needs to pay me $4715 for the replacement Black Opal that I arranged with[redacted] of Australia April 2014.
