What happened with Ms. [redacted] is the following. She came in my lot on Saturday with her two friends on an appointment to come see the car she purchased, a 2008 Mazda ex-7.She test-drove the car with my salesman and her friends, at the time, the were comfortable with the car, didn't find any...

serious visible damage to the car, and asked if the car had been in an accident before.I had told them that the car had not been in an accident, they asked if I had the carfax, I then told them I DID NOT have the carfax, since it is a third party application it was not required by law to have a carfax, but she was completely welcomed to carfax the vehicle herself or we could do it for her if she paid for the carfax service fee they have on their website. But as far as any damage from the date we acquired the vehicle from the auction, to the day she purchased the car, the vehicle did not get any accident, and that the only knowledge that we have comes from the auction where,1) They run their vehicles under different lights based on the condition of the title, we told her the title was blue since that's the kind of cars we like to acquire only, and, 2) The only information, as far as damages, that the auction provides us with is whenever the car had FRAME DAMAGE, OR NOT, we let her know that the car DID NOT have frame damage. She was satisfied with said answers ad went ahead and signed the contract. Now in said contract it is specified that the vehicle being sold is " sold AS IS-NO WARRANTY" and that the seller disclaims all warranties. Furthermore, on the same page it specifies, " the buyer will bear the entire expense of repairing or correcting any defects that presently exist and/or may occur in the vehicles unless the salesperon promises in writing to correct such defects." She purchased a used vehicle for cash price, not financed. After she signed all the paperwork, paid and signed her receipt, her and her friends were happy with the purchased and left our lot. Now, she came back on Monday, complaining she had gone home and decided to carfax her new purchased, on the carfaxx it stated that the car had had a moderate impact on the left side door sometime between 2015-2016, something we did not know, but when we purchased the car in 2017, the care looked as if it had no damage and had resold many times after before we purchased it. she came in very aggressive yelling we had lied to her to sell her the car, that we lied about the car not having any accidents when in reality we NEVER lied to her just to sell her a car. She told us if she had known the car had a prior accident she would have never bought it, but with all due respect, it is not my fault if the costumer did not want to spend an extra 30-40 dollars at the moment of the sale to make sure that, that was what wanted to get, after all she is buying a USED vehicle. We never once told her she couldn't run the carfax then, but she chose not to do it but only after the fact of the sale. So she spend a good two hours in our lot yelling and causing a scene trying to get us to "admit" that we had "lied to her", because once we presented her with all the information on the contract she signed, and is legally binding, the only thing she tried to fo was just to get us to admit that we "lied to her". We again affirmed her we were not lying ti her and if she wanted to she was welcomed to submit this complaint because we never tried to sell her a car by means of lying but she is slandering my business just because she's unhappy with her purchase. And as of right now the bank has already processed the payment for the vehicle and it is in her possession so if she was to cancel the transaction now she would be committing theft. She purchased a USED VEHICLE with no type pf warranty or written promise, just an AS IS-NO WARRANTY.I hope we can resolve this matter and move forward, thank you.[redacted]
