I have been to numerous dermatologist in the south Florida area, and I finally stop changing after visiting DrMelanie Hyears ago
DrH she is what a patient deserves out of the doctorShe has always spent significant time to explain things and answer all of my questionsI can tell that she truly cares about helping her patients In addition she is very good with her staff and it shows because her staff is fantastic
I appreciate DrMelanie H's thorough and complete assessment and treatment of my skin cancer Utilizing her new SRT system I was fortunate not to have to go through a surgical process The Doctors and Staff at Hecker Derm are wonderful

Dr*** *** misdiagnosed me in September of I requested a skin cancer screening She said I had eczema on two locations on the left side of my face, about the size of a nickelI was prescribed a medication cream, that did not work and my two skin areas were still pinkIn April of 2017, I went to another dermatology office and did receive a proper and accurate diagnosis after she took a biopsy and was test positive for basil sell carcinoma, skin cancerI then went to another dermatology specialist for surgery on both areas on my face in July and August of this year
DrHecker, did not give me a thorough exam and she was not able to recognize skin cancer She did not offer a biopsy, if she did not know what it was
I regret going to her for my dermatology needs and I will never recommend her to anyone
