Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/05/08) */ The order was placed on March 4, to be made for Tuesday March 10, I explained to her were closed Monday's and Tuesday's, but if she paid in full, I'd come in, on my day off, to have the cakes done for herShe ordered two cakes, both the same, at $each, $in total [redacted] called Sunday March 8, to cancel and asked how she could get her refund, after I already baked off the cakes and set them up for their custom decorationAt the bottom of my business order forms, it clearly states that once order is placed, no changes can be made and, cake deposits are non-refundableAfter explaining our policy to her and trying to explain how I had already started to make the cake, I just decided to work with her by offering her half refund and half store credit-for a cake with a later date, and she agreedWell, she never showed up Wednesday for her refund, nor later on in the weekThen she ended up coming in the following week, when I was unavailable due to a car accidentFinally, we communicated the following Wednesday morning, over the phone, she was upset, rude and disrespectfulI told her my reasons for not being availableSo after, I met her at my shop, he mother said that their were going to give me bad time through social media by slandering my name, so I took a picture to let them know I was not okay with being slanderedThey came in aggressive, disrespectful, and rudeI tried coming to a resolution, like the fair agreement we had before, that they BOTH agreed to, but it just all ended up being a big miscommunication, but there is no need to threaten me with social media slanderSo I honestly didn't want to deal with the customer anymore, I decided to give them a FULL REFUND, like they were demanding, but at that, they didn't even have their original copy of the receipt in handIn order for me to give a refund, I NEED their original copy of the receipt, that reason being, I need to get the batch number to refund it back on the EBT card that they usedI explained it was going to take me a while to find my copy, because it was already field away with my business's weekly paper workShe became furious, [redacted] then went on foul mouthing me and as she stormed out the door, she knocked over my four-ftM&'M action display (costed me about $400) to the floor, which the mother has a picture of to make sure her daughter didn't damage itAt that time I asked her to leave my storeI was going to call the police for trying to damage my propertyEven the mother was embarrassed of her daughters actions, and went on saying how that was uncalled for and it seemed like she was going to apologize, but I've had enoughI closed my bakery doors for the rest of the dayIt really affected me, then to file a complaint to the Revdex.com that was UNTRUE and pictures of my order form, weren't even fully shownI appreciate and show to my loyal customers, I didn't get my shop my stealing from people, I came from EBT and I still am low incomeAt the end, my offer still stands the same, Ill take the loss and a lesson to be learnedI will still give them their full refund, once I get the right information/paperwork, from them Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 12, 2015/05/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) First, I'd like to say he is incorrect on the date the cake was cancelledIt was cancelled 3/I have phone records to prove itAlso, if he truly already started the cake by the 6th how FRESH was my $cake order going to be? The reason I cancelled was due to my car being stolen and totalledSo I did needed to get transportation to meet up with him and each time was nothing but disappointments and excusesMy mother took me over and over again finally warning him we were going to file a complaint and publicly reveal him as a crookThe day his display fell I admit I was upset and I didn't pick it up but it was not damagedHe was yelling and he is a very large angry manI am only lbs and he is 250+so he was intiminating PLUS, as customers were coming in he was directing him to other bakeries because he said he wasn't open so he didnt close his store because the encounterHe never said anything about a car accidentAll I want is my refundIm not sure what the "right/information paperwork" means?
