It is unfortunate that the spindles came out they are epoxied into place but we just found out about this a little over a week agoHedberg Homes received an email from the *** I believe either Friday or Saturday (out of the office) and we responded back to them on the following
MondayIn our response to them I said if you could give a couple of dates we will setup someone to come out and check all the spindles to make sure that they are all epoxied in as they should beLast week the siding company was on site to correct a couple of things, this correction was not from this one I believed happened in which has been taken care ofI know they would like to have corrections move faster but some things take more time when having to schedule other vendors.We had a door that pealed or delaminated and that took time for us to get that from the manufacture of the door which the *** were notified about a time frame. We have finally received door last week and since then we have had the door finished.We have had a least five different lists that we have gone through and each time there is something newAs closely as they did the first three inspections of the homeThe *** have had some lights burn out and breakers tripCertain vacuums will trip the new style amp breakers as I have in my own home. I know they have had some lights burn out but that is something Hedberg Homes can not controlWe have had the electrician that did the home come out and went through and tested the electrical panel and current flow through the wires and found nothingI was told that they even disconnected the panel and re installed all the wires to make sure everything was secured.Prior to this notice and since this notice to the Revdex.com, Hedberg Homes has been in contact with the *** to obtain dates to preform the previously stated workWe are in the process of confirming a date with the vendors involved to have a single date where all parties can be there to get these couple of things completedJon *** Hedberg Homes Inc They do have about 800lf feet of electrical main coming from the road out in front of the home and there could be electrical surges happeningI mentioned to them to contact Connexus (electrical provider) to come out and test the main line coming into the home

I am rejecting this response because: The time that Hedberg was at our home back in July was due to a siding concern that we had been in communication with the company for 3-months working to resolve. On this day we had no intentions to complete our one year concerns/repairs. It was days prior to this visit that Hedberg requested that we send over our list to them so that we could combine the siding visit into our one year visit as well. We communicated back with the company letting them know that we had scheduled for an inspection and would provide the list following the inspection. We have been in communication with Ed the project manager regarding many of these concerns now listed below in the latest communication to Hedberg throughout the year as he has been to our home. He has communicated to us that with these repairs we will wait for the home to settle and fix them at the one year markSo with this, he is aware of most of the issues on the list. On the day that the siding company was out, Ed and I had further discussion about when we would be scheduling our one year and when we would be providing him with the list. I walked the home and talked over a number of areas with him at this time while we were waiting for the siding company to arrive. Ed communicated to me that I can directly send him the list of concerns/repairs and we would get the vendors scheduled and get things taken care of. We are asking Hedberg for communication as their customer and for a firm date on when the vendors will be out to correct and address our concerns. Thank you, Kristin Eichman

If they can email me their list with the pictures that I have requested two or three times prior to our our Vendors coming out to the home, Hedberg Homes requested sometime in September, which we never did receive an updated list. Once received with pictures that have been requested I will review and responded back to them within five business days of receiving the listHedberg Homes will only respond to items that fall under the Building Performance Guidelines that Hedberg Homes and Vendors have doneThe Builder Performance Guidelines are documents that refer to time frames and resolve for items under question and warranty period in the homeThis document has been agreed to and signed by both parties prior to closing of home.Hedberg Homes Inc or Vendors hired by Hedberg Homes will not repair any items that are related by any storm or high winds which happened this past summer or any damage that may be related to what the Homeowner's have done since occupying the home. Prior to our last visit I asked for a one year list because it was within weeks of the one year date and within a week or so of our scheduled visit to come out and repair things which included the electrician come out again. I mentioned that if they can send us their one year list prior to coming out, we can make one trip and schedule whomever we need to of bring materials, and take care of things they had on their list. Unfortunately, we did not received anything from them which would have help them get little things done at the time even though it may not be are our responsibility. We went out as scheduled and did what was required of us per our Builder Performance Guidelines that they signed. Then they send a list from a home inspector they had come out and inspect the home with out Hedberg Homes being notified if we wanted to have someone representing Hedberg Homes during the inspection. They emailed the report which I could not read because it was so small, so I emailed back (within hours) asking to resend the report  because it was not readable and never got an email back.  Finally I get another list from them but not the inspection report of things that the home inspector noted and two items on the list was a screen and vent on the exterior of the home. This happened when the storm came through and took out the screen and vent. I responded in an email that we would not fix items on the home cause by the storm. One item is to replace a bad GFI which I told them our job superintendent  would pick one up and set a time to come out. Since then he has injured his foot and is having surgery, so as of this email it has not been replaced. However, we will. I did response to the list they sent and a couple of things that the home inspector found in which I asked for them to send a picture of a couple of things. We did not heard or got anything from them until now. I could read a couple of things on the report that the home inspector wants fixed.
