This letter is in response to the complaint #[redacted] filed by [redacted].
Mr. [redacted] called and requested pricing for a 30 yard dumpster to be delivered to [redacted] in Fisherville, Kentucky. Mr. [redacted] was quoted $490.00 per dumpster, for up to ten (10) days. If he needed the...

dumpster longer than the ten (10) days, there would be an additional charge of $5.00 per day. Mr. [redacted] was also told that there was a seven (7) ton limit on each dumpster. If the dumpster was over seven (7) tons in weight, there would be an additional charge of $45.00 per ton due. Mr. [redacted] was told that he could pay the driver upon delivery with cash or a check, or he could pay with a credit card over the phone. If he chose to pay with a credit card, there would be a 3% convenience fee added to the total.
The 30 yard dumpster was delivered to Mr. [redacted] and he decided to pay with a credit card. The amount charge to his credit card for delivery was $504.70 (See copy of invoice). Mr. [redacted] requested that the dumpster be picked up before the ten (10) days, therefore, no additional money was charged for any daily service charges. However, when the dumpster was picked up from his site and taken to the landfill for disposal, the weight of the dumpster was 12.72 tons (see copy of landfill ticket). This is 5.72 tons over the maximum weight allowed in the dumpster. Mr. [redacted] was then charged an additional $265.12 on his credit card for the over weight of the dumpster. (See copy of invoice.)
Mr. [redacted] requested copies of the credit card receipts and these were mailed to him via the US Postal Service.
Mr. [redacted] was in no way overcharged any amount and no refund is due to him. All charges were explained to Mr. [redacted] in advance of the delivery of the dumpster.
