That's 100% falseWe weren't able to rebuild it the second time because of the damage from all the shaft play which was a result of it starving for oilThat is why I was pricing a new turbo for youI'm happy you were able to fix whatever oil issue you had going onThat being said though the first and second time it failed due to oil starvationWhether it was due to improper startup procedures or something else, regardless it failed twice from an oiling issueYou can continue to argue with us but it will not change the fact that we are not going to warranty a turbo that clearly failed from an oiling issue

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. No it's not false... You specifically said your could clean the brass off the shaft.. And rebuild it... And I asked how much a turbo would be and use my wheel... You can't even keep your own story strait... And the first time it failed has nothing to do with any of this ... So I don't know why you even bring that up... You guys rebuilt it and screwed up.... Then proceeded to screw me by over tightening my wheel on my shaft .... So even if you guys don't warrentys my turbo your still intact 100% wrecked my wheel and never sent back my oil feed fitting... Your a joke of a turbo shop... And I hope you enjoy the feeling of stealing money from someone that honestly works  for it... And I didn't have to fix a oiling problem cause one never existed

We denied the warranty claim due to oil starvation. Our warranty clearly states on our website that oil starvation among other things voids any and all warranty. The customers turbo came to us the first time after failing due to oil starvation. We told the customer what we found regarding what was...

wrong with his turbo and he ok'd having us rebuild it. We rebuilt the turbo and sent it to the customer. He installed it and then called us a few days later stating that it had failed and had shaft play so the wheels had been rubbing on the housings so we advised that he should send it in for warranty evaluation to see if it was an issue on our end or if the oil starvation that had caused the initial failure had caused this failure as well. After taking it apart and evaluating it we discovered bluing on the turbine shaft and thrust parts as well as bearing transfer on the inside diameter of the journal bearing bore. Bluing on the turbine shaft and bearing transfer is only possible if there is a lack of oil. Lack of oil causes heat which causes the bluing of metal parts. Lack of oil also allowed the brass journal bearings to rub against the inside diameter of the journal bearing bore which caused the brass transfer. Due to the wear on the journal bearings from not having enough oil at some point it caused the turbo to have shaft play which made the compressor wheel rub on the compressor housing. That threw the turbo out of balance which caused the compressor and turbine wheel to rub even more making the damage even worse. The customers compressor wheel was damaged from him operating the turbo with the oil starvation which caused as all the blades to rub against the housing. This damage only occurred due to the shaft play which developed from the oil starvation issue the customers truck has. We offered to sell the customer a replacement turbo at a discounted price to try to be friendly and help him out but he declined and asked us to send the turbo back to him. We asked him if he wanted it re-assembled or sent back in pieces and he said send it back in pieces so he could see everything. We shipped the turbo back on the 10th and he received it on the 13th. Brad has had the turbo for over a week and did not contact us at all until he did today with the false claim that we damaged his compressor wheel (which was already a destroyed due to every blade rubbing on the compressor housing).
