On August 29, we bought a lift chair from this business The chair was made by Flexsteel and cost us around dollars We did not have that chair a month and the remote handle did not work and the chair froze in place (which they indicate was that the chair's computer went hay-wired and they had to fix that) -my husband was trapped in the chair and luckily finally got the phone in reach to call his brother to help him out of the chair We called Hegg's about this and they came and worked on the control It worked when they left but then it froze up again They ordered another remote which I guess was on back order as it took over a month to get it We got the new remote and man it was nice for about a week and now it does not work properlyMy husband no longer used the chair--I did I called them and told them we were having problems again.( People who buy lift chairs are usually crippled and can't handle all that stuff they want them to do to make a chair work properly.) During the time for the new wand delivery they took apart the other wand and said they found cracker crumbs in it I am the one who has been using that chair and I do not eat crackers so how they got there I do not know They told us that they would charge us $house call to bring that wand to our home and we got into a mild debate about that She the woman we talked to hung up on my husband which he did get a little loud but I called and I was not loud and she hung up on meThat chair has been nothing but trouble and the service that Hegg's provided was very rude and poor When you buy a product the people who sell it should stand behind it --Hegg's only like to sell and not make right any complaints If anyone of those owners at Hegg's would have went through the experiences we did--they would be very upset also We were told that their other customers had no problems--you know there is always a time when things do not work correctly and you try and help the customer make it right Hegg's failed the test
