Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]

Tell us why hereWe are a ***/ [redacted] water heater authorized service provider ***/ [redacted] water heaters warranty covers all labor and parts for the first year after installation; and years for parts only We were issued a dispatch request and service report from ***/ [redacted] to tighten the anode rod on 03/17/ When we arrived on site on 3/22/ [redacted] informed us that the water from the water heater had a foul smell; water quality is not a responsibility of the manufacturer, therefore typically the part would not be covered under warranty Usually the magnesium anode rode is the standard anode rod that comes with the water heater and depending on the sulfur in the water this will react with the anode rod and enhance the sulfur smell Our technician, per the homeowners request, ordered an aluminum anode rod, which typically will correct some of the problem with the smell This is not covered by any type of warranty and if the homeowner looks in his water heater warranty book, he will see that this is not covered We returned on 4/10/and removed the magnesium anode rod and replaced it with the aluminum anode rod and chlorinated the water heater The homeowner stated he would flush the chlorine out of the water heater later in the day, since this needs to sit for a while.Mr [redacted] signed the bottom of our work order for the work performed stating the that all the work has been completed to the customer’s satisfaction Our total invoice to Mr [redacted] was $ We spent one hour checking out the water heater problems and this was billed to ***/ [redacted] since they authorized us to make the service call – the homeowner was not billed for this hour Mr [redacted] did go over some other work that he wanted us to get him a quote on – this was the second hour for that day – normally we do not charge for this time, but due to a billing mistake this was billed to the homeowner and after the homeowner called to discuss, we reviewed the time and realized our error and that is when we lowered our price by $ I don’t know where Mr [redacted] received the $233, since that does not add up to anything we discussed We had 2-1/hours on the signed work order plus the cost of the aluminum anode rod The total due at that time should have been $285.85.After many attempts to get this paid, and we still did not receive payment, we sent our collection letter including finance charges and service fees and still had no response or attempt of any kind to pay the open invoice, so it left us with no option but to turn this over to our collection agency We used the original bill amount of $and added $in finance charges and $processing fee when we turned this over to the collection agency. To settle this matter, we are willing to reduce the invoice by the original $120, but feel Mr [redacted] should still be responsible for the finance charges and service fee This will leave a total amount due of $342.22.Thank you, [redacted] Heggemann, Inc

We were on site on 3/22/for hours – hour was covered by ***/ [redacted] by warranty and not billed for; and the other hour was bidding on another project for Mr [redacted] (this was discussed per last response and we deducted $from the first $bill for this hour and service call)We returned on 4/10/and replaced the magnesium anode rod with an aluminum anode rod per the request of the homeowner The material used was an aluminum anode rod, Teflon tape, pipe dope, and bleach to chlorinate the water heater – total material cost $48.35; we were on site for 2-1/hours at $95.00/hour per the work order that Mr [redacted] signed approving the work Total due is $ I am attaching a revised invoice for this amount I am not including the finance fees or processing fees, in hopes we can resolve this issue After this is paid I will contact our credit reporting agency and get this matter removed from Mr [redacted] ’s credit report; but not until this is paidWe have an excellent reputation and unfortunately we cannot please every customer; for your information there were also reviews that gave us a star rating and only negative reviews It is unfortunate that Mr [redacted] had an unsatisfactory experience with our company; we strive to satisfy all our customer’s needs and expectations

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
First of all, the water heater was
under the one year warranty period as it was installed in March
This is corroborated with ***/*** customer supportThe water
heater also was not a standard water heaterIt had a year tank
and parts warranty and year
fuhome labor warrantyMoreover, after the work was
done by the Heggeman plumber, within a month the water heater
catastrophically failed and ***/*** warrantied the full $
purchase priceI have included this in case the warranty state of
the water heater is in question,
Secondly, Heggemann never sent me a bill
for the $I have three bills for $
since the service was doneAll were sent in the mailAfter
receiving the first bill, I called for an explanation of this amount
I was not able to resolve this matter over the phone because no one
was available to speak with me about this matter any time I calledWhen I finally did speak with someone, he gave me the updated amount of but never sent me that invoice as I requested
The biggest problem I have with the billing is it's not itemized and the prices/hour you stated in your
response still do not add up to the money you're billing meYou
said, “We spent one hour checking out the water heater problems and
this was billed to ***/*** since they authorized us to make this
service call - the homeowener WAS NOT billed for this hour.”
So I don't owe anything for the first of the hours you're
billing me forThen you stated “Mr*** did go over some
other work that he wanted us to get him a quote on - this was the
second hour for that day - normally we do not charge for this time,
but due to billing mistake this was billed to the homeowner and after
the homeowner called to discuss, we reviewed the time and realized
our error and that is when we lowered our price by dollars.”
So you're stating that for the second hour of the hours that
I owe you $because it was a billing mistakeSo that leaves
hours you're billing me for plus an anode rodWhat is the
hours for? How much is the anode rod? I need a detailed bill attached
to your response explaining the costs in question. Until then this case will remain open
If they had made a mistake in the
billing, why was that bill not sent to me? Moreover, not only was
there no apology for this error, I was told I was a liar when I said
the plumber said the labor was covered under warranty
After this experience I went online to
see what kind of reviews your company hasThere are other complaints
online where Heggemann's poor business practices are described and
sound very similar to what occurred hereIf you do not respond
reasonably, I will be compelled to complete a negative review in
several key places on the web including but not limited to,
***.com, ***.com, and ***.com
From *** *** on ***.com
Was
a little disappointed in Heggemann, I asked them to give me an
estimate on some shower repair work, and at the same time to fix a
leaking water hydrant ( outside faucet). On the shower repair work
they gave me a written estimate, but on the water hydrant it was a
verbal estimate of $so I told them to fix the hydrantHowever
when I received the invoice it was for $when I questioned the
difference they reduced it $Very disappointed as I can not
understand how an repair can go from $to $I am happy that
they at least reduced it to the $
From *** *** on ***.com
They
over charged my elderly father for cleaning out a sewer line that
they couldn't clean out
Anonymous on ***.com
I
had a plumbing emergencyThey were supposed to show up by Noon
They didn'tWaited and finally called them and they said a man
yelled at them to get out of the drivewayMy husband was out of
townThen when they finally came they didn't have a clue as to what
to doCharged me an extra hour's service than what they provided
Awful
I would never hire them againRip off artists.Very Respectfully,,

We were on site on 3/22/2017 for 2 hours – 1 hour was covered by [redacted] by warranty and not billed for; and the other hour was bidding on another project for Mr. [redacted] (this was discussed per last response and we deducted $120 from the first $405.85 bill for this hour and service call). We have an excellent reputation and unfortunately we cannot please every customer; for your information there were also 74 reviews that gave us a 5 star rating and only 3 negative reviews.  It is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] had an unsatisfactory experience with our company; we strive to satisfy all our customer’s needs and expectations.
