Review: There are a few problems with this one. First off we did trade my 2011 chevy malibu in for a 2011 dodge ram. Now he said he could sell it and would pay off my loan on the 2011 chevy malibu. Now it took him about a week to get the paperwork all done which was way too long for my liking. He ended up taking my chevy malibu and I took the dodge. The agreement on the contract was he pay off my loan of $9500. He asked me to do a 10-day payoff to my bank which is [redacted]. I said sure and did that. I actually had to do it "TWO" times for him he asked. So after the second time I never heard back from him "ASSUMING" he took care of the loan and all was done and said. Then about a month to almost 2 months later I get a call from my loan officer "[redacted]" that works at [redacted]. She told me I haven't made my monthly payment and was wondering what was wrong because I'm "NEVER" late on my car payments. I asked her "What are you talking about? Didn't [redacted] pay off the loan?" She said "No, he hasn't I haven't heard from him at all." Turns out he never went down to the bank to pay off the loan he said "He was out of town." Which I don't believe. It took him another week to go down an pay it off. I had a $500 late fee against my credit thanks to him. He also let the interest build which cost him more to pay off the loan. He is now saying I owe him $500 and saying he will put a secondary lien on my loan of my truck which I don't get how he can at all. Or why he is saying this? I have the title to my 2011 dodge ram and the loan is through another bank. All the paperwork has been signed and done. Nothing else is left. There was nothing in the contract of me saying I will pay him $500 dollars because of a late fee which he could of avoided by paying the loan off the day I purchased that truck. He also sold my car to someone else before he even paid off my car and could get the lien from that loan. Which he was having issues with the lady that purchased the 2011 chevy malibu because she wanted to get the title right away. I also did have trouble getting the title myself for that 2011 dodge ram. He didn't run the title down till the very last day when my temp. plates were about to expire. That's when I called him asking where my title was because the courthouse didn't have it. Basically my problem is he is a very sly and sneaky guy. I'm not impressed by this man on how he runs a business. However, I do not owe the man any more and it doesn't say anywhere in the contract I owe him that. He has been very rash towards me the last couple days and I have told him numerous times to leave me alone. I appreciate anything that can be done with this. Thank you so much.Desired Settlement: I would like him to stop calling me. Or harassing me. The agreement is done and there is nothing more that needs to be said with this. I just want to go on and live. Thank you for taking the time with this whoever you may be. All is very appreciated.

Review: I purchased a used car (2006 Volvo S40) form [redacted] the owner Heights Auto Brokers on December 11th 2013 he was also the private owner of this vehicle. I gave a $2000.00 deposit and financed the rest through my local credit union and had a check for him for the remaining balance. After the 40 day temporary tags were up and I had not yet received a postcard in the mail from motor vehicles stating that they have my title, I went to the courthouse to find he never sent in the title. He sent in a MV2 form on January 10th 2014 9 day before the temporary plates expired. Unfortunately for me I found out the he also had a lien on the car from the same credit union that I bank with and I was told I cannot put plate on a car I do not own as he is still the own even though I have been making payments on the car and insurance. He offered me dealer plates to put on the car till he go certified funds to the back to pay off his lien however I told him that was illegal. I have contacted the Dealer Compliance Officer ([redacted]) and left him a message and am awaiting a call back on this issue. After reading prior reviews it appears I am not the only person that has had this same issue.

On a side note as s[redacted]d prior Mr. [redacted] was the owner on the car prior to me and I was told that it "had no know issues" however after one week of ownership I had to take it to the Volvo dealership and they had it for three weeks to fix a electronic power steering pump and lines. The interesting thing I found out from the Volvo Dealer was the previous service record indicates that months prior to me "buying" the car Volvo informed the owner that the pump was making noise and recommendation was replacing the pump. Currently the car is back at Volvo with engine issues all within the first 42 days of "ownership".Desired Settlement: I am requesting to be bought out from this car so I can walk away from this issues.

Business

Response:

This is a response to the unfounded and inaccurate details of the said transaction and follow up with this customer. To our knowledge this customer was very satisfied with the purchase of this vehicle and was very dissatisfied with his service from the shop where he took it for service. We not only got him our cost which saved him an additonal 250$ on some extra keys. I personally also spent several hours listening to his repeated complaints of other dealers and how he was so unsatisfied and was going to sue them over incidents which he felt was deceptive and untruthful. I offered to resell vehicle for him but he only wanted me to buy vehicle back at same price from him when I contacted him about this record I had received from Revdex.com in regards to his experience with us.

I believe his personal issues have played into his business and he is looking for someone to blame. I also believe he would not be happy with anything we would or have tried to do to help and that he is trying to stir up trouble in his misery. we understand he s[redacted]s he will not do business here again and we are okay with that ... hope this helps.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

None of the accusations that [redacted] has claimed are true I was not happy with the shop doing the work because I found out there were known issues with the car that were not known to me at the time of purchase. I have already put almost $3000 of repairs into this car already. Part of the deal from day one was that [redacted] was going to be providing a second set of keys as part of the original deal. So even that claim is not accurate. I have since moved to Colorado so I no longer have to deal with [redacted], his lies, or unethical business practices. Also there was no plans to sue the Volvo dealership where the repairs were being done and like wise I have not made any Revdex.com cases with that dealership as the problem that came up with them, they fixed right after the issue. It appears to me that [redacted] is trying to blame his customers rather than dealing with his own issues and unethical practices and take responsibility for his actions. There are also two other Revdex.com case in the last two years with Heights Auto Brokers and they have the same issues and complaints that I have had. This alone I feel speaks for itself.
