The vehicle in question came to our Collision repair shop the afternoon of November 11, 2015. Our shop had to wait for [redacted] Insurance to decide if this vehicle would be a total loss, The repairs to this vehicle totaled $8,436.04, The repair work started on November 17, 2015....
Thirty-four days which includes the Thanksgiving holiday is not unreasonable for a repair of this amount, There was a crash sensor malfunction due to the impact, the upper Coolant hose was on back-order from the factory and we performed a temporary repair so the customer could have the vehicle back. After the repairs, the steering pulls to the left and the rear trailing arm in the rear suspension was bent. The customer requested we include the rear suspension trailing arm in the insurance claim. Our shop explained the insurance company would not approve this repair. Our repair was to the front of the vehicle and the rear suspension damage was related to the damage to the left quarter panel from a previous accident, This customer demanded the vehicle the morning of 12/15/15 would not wait for car to be cleaned.
The vehicle the subject of this complaint owned by Mrs. [redacted].The matter is Mrs. [redacted]'s most recent collision with the vehicle in a repair facility approximately 100 miles from us. We offered to pick up the vehicle at no cost to document her concerns relative to our repair as directed by her...
insurance company one year and 11 months ago; she declined that offer. We received a call from a person alleging to be with nationwide he informed me he would email me his information which he did not do.We furnish Mrs. [redacted] a copy of her insurance companies repair estimate on the previous most recent accident prior to this accident and a copy or the [redacted] history report on that vehicle which does not support her allegations.The insurance repair estimate for work performed by us does not support her allegations. As a result of the above, we no longer plan any further dialogue concerning this matter. Fred Frederick
