When we ran the credit bureau inquiry, it was done specifically to get an approval from Landmark Credit Union (which the customer indicated was the only lender that she wanted us to engage). Landmark's rules mandate that we submit a customer's credit application thru Route One in order to get an approval for any of the loans that we write on their behalf. This was explained to the customer by our Finance Manager and the customer agreed to move forward. The customer signed a credit application that gives us the authority to run a bureau on her behalf. We reviewed the credit bureau with the customer at the same time. (we have documentation to support these, but for purposes of customer privacy can only provide those documents to the customer directly).Unfortunately, we do not feel we can write a letter to the credit bureau company and say that we did not intend to run the credit bureau. We ran the bureau on behalf of the customer with her authorization. As previously indicated we have forwarded the customer's letter requesting to have the bureau removed. It is not in our hands as to whether the bureau inquiry is removed at this time. Sincerely,Chris ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I agree, I would have been more accepting if they simply told me up front they couldn't do it, or that they would try but no guaranteeThe fact I was told it would work was the worst partThank you, Maureen and Chris, for doing what you could do to resolve this

we are purchasing the vehicle back and selling him a different vehiclethank youdon ***

Customer purchased a used vehicle with 95,miles on the vehicle. This vehicle was sold "as is" which means it does not come with any additional warranty and the customer is purchasing the vehicle "as is." There were several items that were identified before the customer took
delivery of the vehicle that we agreed to fix. Those were the squeaky belt noise and the air bag light. We replaced the serpentine belt and we also replaced the air bag sensor. Those items were approximately $worth of repairs that we agreed to fix and were completed. The customer has since had some additional concerns with the vehicle, including a bulb needing to be replaced, and a purge valve replacement which did cost the customer an additional $336. The vehicle is currently back in our service shop and there are two items that have been addressed. There was an additional part that needed to be replaced (tensioner) that addressed the squeaking noise associated with the serpentine belt. We will not charge the customer for that additional work since it had to do with the original squeaky belt that we agreed to address. The other item is called a Natural Vacuum detection valve - which is the cause for the check engine light issue. This repair will be charged to the customer as this was not part of the items that were addressed as a condition of the sale. I do not know the exact price of this repair but I believe it will be between $300-$400.We believe that we have taken steps to repair the items that were identified as part of the original sale of the vehicle. The additional items, are not something Heiser is responsible for. Repairs should be expected with a vehicle that has almost 100,miles and is years old. Sincerely,*** ***

we have contacted the customer and refunded them the money and apologized for the confusion. customer was satisfied thank you

Because of the type of offer this was, there were no guarantees that we would have been able to get the additional $applied to the deal. Because the deal had already been finalized, it would not have been a sure thing to get the extra monies applied to the deal. As indicated, our people should never have been so quick to infer that this would have been taken care of. But I think everyone wanted to do what they could on behalf of the customer. The problem is that we set the expectation that it might be possible (salesperson went to far to say it was possible) where we would have been better off from the start saying that we could not get it done, and only communicated after we found out the final decision from General Motors.Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and are trying to make this right by offering up the gift card.Chris

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I have pulled my phone records to prove after multiple attempts to contact the dealer prior to September 16th and on 9/My phone records show that I did not receive a call from the dealer on September 19th and that I called them multiple times and also left messagesI have never had to call a place of business as many times or had a lack of communication with a business, like I experienced with Heiser ChevroletIve wasted alot of my time dealing and trying to deal with these peopleI and my co-signer both had hard credit inquiries on our credit to receive the loan for the pickup I did not buy due to their lack of communicationI would not recommend this dealership to anyone and the people that do deal with them need to be aware of the possible negative outcome

This company is clearly full of liars with fraudulent business practicesThe company initially said they would get the inquiry removed if I submitted my own personal letter and signed it, which I did now they saying they can't get the inquiry removedI had a verbal conversation with the loan processor and he verbally told me filling out the application would only give them authorization to check with landmark to see if I had a preapproval, he lied to me and sent a whole another credit application to the same lender which resulted in two credit inquiries from the same creditor in days, if you use common sense here there was no reason to have inquiries from the same lender it's dumb and doesn't make any sense, heiser also did their own inquiry for their own personal information which didn't serve any purpose and the manager agreed heiser shouldn't have done their own inquiry on meThis is the reason why we are in this situation now because of business people lying to make a sale and listening to respond instead of listening to what the consumer is telling youIf I told the loan processor or whoever he was I specifically didn't want my credit ran then he shouldn't have done that or lied and said he wouldn't in which he didIt's clear this company take no liability for the situation so I will be filing a complaint with a higher department for consumer finances

My head light had been replaced and was working at the time of the oil change. The tevhnictec shorted my headlight. The whole headlight unit has been rwreplac at the time of the accident. The dealer also removed screws from my bumper and did not replace them So I no longer want them working on my car.

First of all, we apologize for the problem occurring. There was a vehicle that was inadvertently listed online for $1 which is a $15,000 vehicle.  Occasionally, there are errors that occur whether they are keypunch or "syndication" errors which occur when prices are being published to all...

the various 3rd party websites.  There are disclaimers listed on all the websites that address pricing errors.  Clearly, we do not knowingly publish prices that are incorrect.  Once we learned that there was a problem, we immediately removed the vehicle from the website, and have corrected  the pricing issue so when the vehicle is pushed out to the 3rd party websites it will now be accurate.   We do not have any legal responsibility to sell the vehicle for $1 as that pricing was obviously incorrect.Sincerely,[redacted]

we have had Ashley's vehicle in service and have not been able to duplicate her concern.  the customer would like us to take her out of her currant lease and we are not able to do that because it is a lease and she has not been in the vehicle enough time.  if you have any questions please let me knowthank you don [redacted]

Our [redacted] has been in touch with the customer and has agreed to take care of fixing the brakes at no charge.  While this vehicle was sold "as-is" we recognize that it is frustrating when something comes up soon after the vehicle is purchased.  I believe the customer is happy...

with the resolution.

The issue has been resolved with this customer.  They have returned the vehicle and we have refunded their monies. [redacted]

the vehicle was purchased in August of 2013 with 82,000 miles.  at that time the vehicle had 7 32nd on each of the tires and according to the pre sale inspection everything else was ok except for the battery which we replaced.  the next time we saw the vehicle was on October 25th...

2013 with 84,000 miles when it came into heiser Toyota for an oil and filter change.  we performed a vehicle inspection at that time and the tires were at 7 32nd.  everything else at that time checked out ok.  the vehicle returned to heiser Toyota on march 10, 2014 for a oil and filter change with 89,000 miles.  at that time the customer told us that the left rear tire was loosing air and we checked it and could not find a leak.  we also performed a vehicle inspection and the tires at that time were at 6 32nd.  mr.  [redacted] does not mention the date the tires were replaced or how many miles are on the vehicle at this time.  if mr. [redacted] would like to contact me and if the repairs are not completed at the repair shop the vehicle is at now I would be happy to give a discount if he brought the vehicle to one of our stores.  I can be reached at ###-###-####.  [redacted]

I contacted Michelle and apologized to her for not getting back to her.  I did forget to get back to her.  I agreed to send her a check for $500.00 for her repairs and she is satisfied with that.  thank you for letting us respond
