Review: I called this business in the morning saying that I would be coming in with my boyfriend and inquired about the price for a mani/pedi; I was quoted $25 (although once @ the establishment their pamphlet said a different price, lesser, for services performed Monday-Wednesday....and I went on a Wednesday). When I received the bill they charged me $25 and my boyfriend $30. I immediately asked why I was charged a different price than my boyfriend and the gentleman that was doing my nails spoke with [redacted], the [redacted], who said, "It is policy." I was not told that there were different fees for men & women when I called. I specifically stated that I was bringing my boyfriend when I called.I gave a $8 tip for the both of us (I am a college student and did not expect to be billed extra for my boyfriend who only had his nails cleaned, no polish). The gentleman working on my nails rudely inquired if I was aware that the tip I was leaving on my credit card was for both him and the woman working on my boyfriend's nails. When I said yes he just nodded. However, minutes later the [redacted] was overtly trying to hand him money as if rudely implying that my tip was insufficient. It was very unprofessional and embarrassing. At the end of their services, I had nail polish on the sides of my fingers, some of which the gentleman doing my nails removed after I asked him to do so (he had informed me the manicure was finished). My boyfriend told me in the car that the woman doing his pedicure left dirt underneath his nails. This seemed intentional after they received my tip. My manicure was unsatisfactory and for $30 my boyfriend had dirt left under his nails. I have never experienced such unprofessional services and behavior in a nail salon. I have been to this salon in the past, traveling 30 minutes while several are located in my home town. I am not sure what has changed. I will never return and I will never recommend this salon again.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded $55.00 ($25.00 for my services & $30.00 for my boyfriend's). I hope they treat their customers differently in the future.
