Heli Aviation

Helicopter tour was purchased and paid for. Tour was cancelled by merchant and refund promised. No refund provided, merchant stopped answering phone.
On January 29, 2020 a helicopter tour was purchased in the amount of $549 and was paid for over the phone using a Visa card. On February 4th an additional $49 was paid, again via phone for some modifications to the helicopter (removal of doors). On Feb 13th I was advised by the merchant that the tour was being cancelled and that my visa would be refunded. On February 19th I had not received a refund and I contacted the company. The woman who answered the phone told me she would talk to the owner and get back to me. When is failed to do so I tried calling again the following day, Feb 20th and the entire telephone system was shut down. I contacted the bank and the entire matter is now under investigation.

I purchased a tour online for myself and two others several days in advance. We drove more than 2 hours each way. When we arrived, they changed the time without telling us (they had my email and cell number so they could have let us know very easily as they emailed a confirmation to me with the original time). Then, they informed us that the pilot who can fly the larger helicopter that can accommodate 3 adults didn't show up for work, so we can't all fly together, even though I had already paid for 3 adults to fly together. Our choices were 1) someone doesn't fly at all or 2) we break up into 2 groups and go on 2 shorter tours. The staff was very nice and did their best to make a bad situation ok, but we should have been told in advance before we drove 2 hours each way that we would not be getting what we paid for. Since we had driven all that way and were really looking forward to the experience, we decided to take the second option and split up, and the tour was very cool, to be fair. When I got home, I emailed Nick, who is the CEO of the company, to let him know about our disappointment and not getting what we paid for and not being told in advance. I was very calm and very nice but simply let him know that we were disappointed and should have been told ahead of time. I've emailed him 3 separate times over a 2+ week period, also copying the general company email, and they have still not had the courtesy to respond (yet when I mailed him directly about booking the tour, he responded within a 1/2 hour). So based on their complete lack of willingness to respond and take ownership for their bait & switch tactics and lack of courtesy to respond to a totally legitimate complaint and disappointment in not getting what I paid for, I definitely would not recommend doing business with Nick H. or Heli Aviation.

Purchased on june 24. For helicopter lesson on june 28. Then was rescheduled due to pilot calling off. Went again on July 1st for other appt. And pilot no showed. Been calling at least 3 times a week since to get my refund. Finally after almost month called credit card company to make a dispute on the charge. The charge was pending then went away for few days then all of a sudden cleared my account. The poor receptionist has tried to contact owner with all the names of people that need refunds and he wont contact any of us or refund our money. His name is niclas.
