I explained the current damage to the flooring was not due to negligence, poor material, or improper installationTherefore, Heller Construction is not responsible for the current condition of the floorThe [redacted] ’ daughter began harassing me, demanding that I was responsible for the replacement of the flooringShe persisted that it was my responsibility to replace the flooring for freeHer continued berating caused me to hang up ? Since October, the elements as well as the lack of waterproofing in the crawl space were out of Heller Construction’s controlNeither the Pergo material nor the installation would have been at fault ? Since the October, installation, many factors may have contributed to the buckling: 1) The extreme cold coupled with the excessive snow fall and thaw2) Excessive spring/summer rain fall (as evidenced by the storm water in the [redacted] ’ basement3) Moisture/condensation build up over time ? Complaints regarding workmanship, product, or installation were not expressed until after water/moisture had accumulated at the propertyHeller Construction is not responsible for material failure under these extreme conditions and is not responsible for the cost to replace materials or labor
