I am rejecting this response because: they did send someone out (***)he fixed the post and I showed him the invoice sent from Helm fence that showed a $balance*** said don't worry about thatI asked *** to have *** call me if he had any other questionsI will be satisfied once Helm fence acknowledges that there is no outstanding balance

The customer filed the complaint with the Revdex.com after speaking to us about the sinking post we told the customer we would have someone out within the next couple days to look at the post and see what we needed to do to repair itThe customer was informed that we would not complete the repair however
until their outstanding balance was paid in full

Review: We contracted Helm to put up a wood privacy fence on on side of our property. We gave specific instructions that the current fence was on the property line and the new fence needed to go well inside where the old fence was. This was not done, Helm put the new fence outside where our old fence was and upset our neighbor as it was on his property, we took pictures and called several times about the issue. My husband went in to speak to someone is person and the scheduled to come out and move the fence. We were charged and paid for their mistake, since the fence was moved it has been lose, leaning over and the metal door latch scraps against our home. We have called Helm over a dozen times in the last few months and they keep telling us they will be out at the end of the week and then never come, nor call. Again my husband went in to speak to someone in person and showed them pictures of how our $2300 plus one side of a fence is looking after only 11 months up and we continue to be told "end of the week" then blown off.eDesired Settlement: We would like our fence fixed as we have our home up for sale and the fence has been a problem with potential buyers. I feel like the customer service at Helm is awful and they should be calling customers back if the don't plan to show up when they say they will or if they don't plan on handling an issue they should have told us to contact someone else, instead they tell us they will come out and months go by and they don't. People want to deal with upfront and honest companies and Helm is not one of these companies and they shouldn't have such a high Revdex.com rating.

The fence was origionaly placed where the customer asked them moved at their request. As far as the repair it was done as timely as possible and was completed before this complaint was filed.

I am rejecting this response because it isn't the truth. The fence was installed incorrectly. We called the night the fence was installed and they came out the next day and Mr. Helm and the installer both agreed that it wasn't put in correctly. We happily paid them to move it to avoid a fight with our neighbor. After a few months the fence started lean and the pin rubbed against the house. Both my husband and I called and went in with pictures on several occasions to date my fence is till not fixed. Helm needs a secretary to handle customers and scheduling, whoever answers the phone has no idea what they are doing or talking about.

I have no idea what your expecting from us on this, We provided the info requested, responded to the customer and to be honest from our information the “customer” doesn’t even live there anymore. We went above and beyond with them to take care of their issue. It was resolved before the customer ever filed the initial report. That has all been stated, There is no offer to make to them as I sent a crew out at my cost to do a repair that wasn’t even under warranty and they are still trying to cause problems.

Review: The fence that was installed by Helm Fencing had a diagram of how the fence was supposed to be installed. Fence was not installed with the gate opening out like diagram shown. Gate post has sunk down since installation and now gate will not latch. My wife paid in full when job was finished and when I got home realized that gate was wrong. Fence has not been in longer than six months and post is sunk lower. I called Helm Fencing on 4/1/2014 and talked to [redacted] and he said he would send [redacted] out to look at it. I called again on 4/2/2014 to see when [redacted] was coming out, [redacted] said that I have a balance due and I proceeded to tell him that we paid in full. He said we have a balance due because of rock charges and cutting down the fence. The contractor that was doing the installation went by the name of ([redacted]) no longer with them. He told me don't worry about it after he had spoken to [redacted]. Helm Fencing quoted me a price and I paid that price.Desired Settlement: I would like Helm fencing to repair my gate post so my gate will close correctly and make my gate close according to the diagram, without new drill holes exposed. I will not pay any further balance because it was never shown to me and they never contacted me about a balance, it wasn't until I contacted them about the warranty of my fence that they brought this up. No bill was ever sent to me I paid in full the amount on the contract

Review: They failed to show up when they were supposed to start the job claiming it was going to rain. Told us they would start the next day, they did but only completed less than 1/3 of the job, promised they would be back the next business day and failed to show. When I called they said they never said they were coming back that day and it would be three days later. asked to speak with management and was hung up on. My husband went and got them to bring the materials to our home so we could finish the job ourselves and they sent one man who was injured. We asked that they refund the money for installation and they only gave us $600 saying they didn't charge us much for installation. They did not give us proof of purchase on the materials so we don't know how much we paid bu I am sure it was more than $600 on a half acre fence installation.Desired Settlement: I would like additional money back for the installation that we now have to do. I would also like a phone call from the owner, which I had asked for several times.
