felt the need to complain to the Revdex.com. We have been in business for 3 years and this is the first time we have had this issue. Not only did this customer totally refuse to pay us, for reasons I still do not understand, they then felt the need to smear us online under multiple fake yelp accounts. They claimed damages but to this day we have not received any pictures or evidence of such damage, even after requesting it several times via email and phone. I know this client communicated with us via text and email so I’m sure they are capable of sending us some photos from their phone.  It is industry standard (and requirement of our insurance) that full payment is received upon the completion of the work order and then any damages are assessed and refund given.  This client refused to pay us or send us any evidence of damages. They also claimed that there was no contract, simply incorrect. We have a contract, terms of service, inventory, and damage waiver signed by this client in our files currently. They also booked online via our scheduling app and to do this you are required to read and agree to our terms of service (which are openly available on our website). This client then threatened to sue us. We ignored this claim since they had no legal standing and the bill was under $1000. We decided that it was better to send their bill to collections than take it to small claims court for theft of services. Of course this review at Revdex.com appeared around the same time their collections notice was sent out. We e are licensed, incorporated, and insured in the state of Pennsylvania, we were not licensed through the PUC specifically, which we were not aware was a requirement for operations (it's the newest one). Until this client complained to them. We now have an application pending currently, and had to cease operations for a time. We had to let some of our staff go directly because of this client's actions. So not only did this client not pay a small business, they deeply hurt a small business, and our employees. As a small business owner it truly amazes me how rude and thoughtless some people can be to people who do hard manual labor."-- - Darryl B[redacted], Owner of Helping Hands Movers
