Helping Hands Realty Services Reviews (2)

I wanted to share a very negative experience in dealing with Helping Hands/Kim [redacted] /Many Hats LLC and how terrible it really wasI dealt with Helping Hands Realty Services when I lived at [redacted] *** When I moved in, the place was in a liveable condition, but some of the light bulbs were out/not working, the kitchen had leftover clothes from the previous tenant, the tenant left christmas lights, nails in the wall, 3m hangers on the wall, the whole works I didn't want to be petty and have my property management come change out these items so I fixed them myself out of good will First mistakeA couple months in, I was starting to get bugs coming out of the ceiling in the bathroom I sent the picture in and was told that I needed to fix the hole in the ceiling directly above the bathroom I mentioned that this was here when I moved in Helping Hands accused me of making the hole and told me I have to pay for it to be fixed...come to find out the hole is supposed to be there because it's an emergency drain for the A/C My condo was just missing the plastic plug to make it look normal They found this out after they checked another unit and told me it was okay how it was (no fix)Fast forward to living there for months I sent in a request to vacate my condo early, since I was moving in with my girlfriend in a house that could accommodate us both I'm told that there are no fees or anything and Helping Hands will contact the owner month goes by and I don't hear anything from Helping Hands I follow up and am told that the owner doesn't know if they want to sell the condo or lease it again - I'm told by Helping Hands that they can't do anything about it per our contract (even though the owner used to work for Helping Hands) Another month goes by and I follow up, I'm told the owner is on vacation now and there is no way for them to contact the owner and find out if they have made a decision At months I moved out of the condo into my new house I kept paying my utilities and rent at the condo At months of living there and month at my new house, the owner has decided to lease the condo, I'm told this from Helping Hands after I had to follow up for info again Helping Hands started showing the condo, after weeks, I'm told the new tenant will move in mid-July (which will only save me 1/a months rent) I had to ask about the new tenant for this info, Helping Hands never let me know they had found someone for the lease Second mistakeHelping Hands told me to remove a desk/futon behind the trash can (that was mine) I put these items in the condo dumpster and sent a picture to Helping Hands (as I was requested) Turns out I wasn't allowed to throw these items in the dumpster (even though Helping Hands verified I disposed of the items), so Helping Hands charged me $to remove the trash I asked for them to split this cost, and was told no and to shove it Third mistake thinking I could trust a Helping Hands employeeOn my move out condition report, I was charged $for the trash, $for cleaning a SF condo, $for removal of a BIRDS NEST, $for powerwashing SF of patio (which wasn't dirty), $for light bulb replacement, $smoke alarm batteries, a total of $after all of it in charges Plus a $admin feeThroughout the year that I was with Helping Hands Realty, they hired 3-new employees The turnover rate over there is through the roof, which makes it difficult having a conversation with anyone at Helping Hands, especially the lack of supervision/oversight If Kim [redacted] had been looking at all of the emails/business coming through, she could've corrected her employees and fixed a lot of problems with her business management and communication skillsI would highly recommend anyone who is dealing with Kim [redacted] /Helping Hands Realty/Many Hats LLC, to stop immediately because they are only out to take as much money from you as they can They are not friendly and are out to get any tenant they can force into their propertiesSTAY AWAY
