The service was in the Raleigh NC office and they are horrible. They ttok my money and still have not help me find a place to live.On 9/26/14 me and my boyfriend went into the Raleigh office and sat down and talk with a girl named [redacted]. She explained to me that she could help me find a place because I told her I had an unpaid eviction on my background and then she turn around and told me she had three evictions and they would be able to help us find a place. We paid $80 and gave her three can goods. We have not got anywhere and nobody will return my phone calls. I want a refund and they keep asking me for my number and telling me they are going to call me back. We got SCAMED!!! THIS COMPANY IS NO GOOD AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR MONEY!!!I am still fighting to get my money back.Desired SettlementI would like a refund. That is all that I am requesting. We promptly refunded Ms. [redacted]'s full subscription charge on 10/24/14. If additional information is needed please don't hesitate to contact us. Consumer Response Yes they did send me a refund and spelled my name wrong on the check so I sent it back and I am waiting on new check. The only person that helped me was [redacted] at the greensboro location. If anyone does decide to go with Help-U-Rent I would go with her because the manager [redacted] at the Raleigh location is horrible.

Business provided me false contract, I paid a fee, and never received the service.On 11/29/14 I went to [redacted] for an appointment with Mr. [redacted] He assisted me with setting up an account and also had his secretary [redacted] assist him with setting up the contract. I paid a fee of $80.00 in cash to receive 4 months worth of service. I was provided with a contract that now I realize - doesn't include any information for [redacted]. The contract # is[redacted]. I was supposed to call a phone number with a special code at 6pm each day to receive apartment listings. I waited a couple of weeks before trying the number because it was the holidays and I wouldnt need to find the place until after the New Year. I called the number on 12/26/14 and received an automated message that said the number was disconnected. I attempted to call the office and left a voicemail. I figured they would be closed until after the New Year so I figured I would give them some time. On 12/26/14 I left a voicemail and there was a female voice on the answering machine. As of 01/02/14 - all numbers for the business had been disconnected. Even the phone number on my personal voicemail. I work for the electric company and I was able to see that services were no longer active for this company. So now I have paid $80 and never received a service. I spoke with a [redacted] from the Greensboro office for [redacted] and he stated he would be able to get me a refund. I attempted to call today and now I've been advised that '[redacted]' does not work there. The whole company is a scam and the whole process has been very discouraging. I thought these people would be able to help me. PLEASE HELP MEDesired SettlementI would like my $80 fee reimbursed. I came to them for help on moving into my first apartment. Not to be scammed out of $80 in this already difficult economy.
