[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: We our selves contacted the company that made the stone who in turn escalated the order on our behalfThe funeral home contacted us to let us know the stone was placed afterwards when we were already aware and present when it was being set because of the direct contact we had with the actual vendor of the stoneThe picture change had nothing to do with the delay of the order, the order was not even placed until August 22nd by the funeral home, this is unacceptable that it took them seven months to place the order for the stoneThe stone company is the ones that came through with this order and expedited the order once they became aware of the funeral homes lack of placing the order in a timely manner and made sure that the stone was placed within a week after we contacted them and also made sure we were notified a week later when they came to place the picture on the stone as wellAccording the company the stone was ordered from this seems to be happening quite often with this funeral home and they are getting several complaints as well Regards, [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:I am responding to your correspondence of September 24, ID ***.Please be advised that the product mentioned in the complaint was installed on September 21, 2017.For more than years, we have endeavored to render only the highest quality service to those families
who place their trust in us and I must apologize for the delay in the placement of the monument.There were several mitigating circumstances affecting the timeliness of the order; I must assume all responsibility for our internal delays, also the specialized picture to be placed on the monument did change during the process.As far as the costs, $was the original estimateHowever, the client family was billed the actual cost of $1696.Thank you.Sincerely,Douglas *S*** Licensed Funeral Director
